They don't work for Square Enix but this would promote Square Enix so they should either allow it or should make a 3d Chrono Trigger. These people did a lot of work. This is amazing graphics for a fan game. I am signing this petition.

This team should've just made the entire game in 3D and not said anything publicly about it until it was finished, and than once finished, distributed it to every place on the net that they could think of, at that point if they were forced to close their project down, it wouldn't have mattered because it would have been complete and available on so many places on the internet that anyone would be able to get it and nothing square-enix would be able to do about that.
