I recently was taken to Disney World in Orlando, FL as a school field trip, I enjoyed it and it was a nice experience. It's really my first time away from any/all my family members for longer than a day. It also happens to be the place where I rode on my first roller coaster.
One of my favorite parts was the rides (of course). I rode on everything there. My favorite would have to be, even though I only rode it once, the Dinosaur one (I don't remember what it was called). It was extremely scary and the first time I was 100% frightened. Even though the dinosaurs weren't real, it was an intimidating experience. For one, you really couldn't see much aside from the dinosaurs that came out of nowhere. Towards the end, they seemed to be getting even closer to you. There was a T-Rex that was like charging towards you and you narrowly escaped it at the last second or something. Finally, they had a tree that nearly fell on you and another T-Rex that looked like it was about to attack from above as you were being pulled down a hill of some sort.
The Tower of Terror was another amazing ride. I was completely freaked out on the intro the first time around. When everybody was strapping themselves in, I told the lady that I didn't want to ride it anymore and that I wanted to leave. She laughed at me and closed the door in my face. After it was all over, I felt like I would never ride that ride again, but the girl next to me looked like she would puke at any given moment. I rode that ride later in the day several times with one of my friends. He found it hilarious when I screamed and was rolling when I pointed and screamed at a random lady when we got off.
Space Mountain was literally the first ride that I rode on when I got there. I don't remember much, though I do remember that it wasn't all that scary. I kept bending down because it felt like something was going to hit me in my face. When I was finished, I was pumped and psyched about riding another roller coaster.
Aside from all of the rides, Disney World is very repetitive and can get old really fast. Take the food for example; every single day it was hamburgers and french fries with the same desert- Chocolate Cake. I guess I can't say that for all of Disney world, but we had meal vouchers and could only go to certain restaurants. Yesterday, I noticed how the animals, mainly the birds, fly around freely in a lot of places, both inside and outside. Me and my group also fed ducks and crows some of our french fries.
I particularly had fun in the dorm room in our hotels. The first night was an all out pillow fight, actually a pillow war as there was some serious hits being delivered. The second night, we mostly chilled and told jokes. The third night, me and one of my friends were wrestling for my bag of gummy worms. Everybody was surprised at how long that I held out because of my small size. The fourth night, we were on our way back home on the charter buses and I got pranked. First, a girl dumped water in my lap, so in return I soaked both her and her friend with a water bottle with my own. They got me back by dumping salt and all these cinnamon like stuff on me. By the end of the night, we called it a draw and I found it quite entertaining.
