I have noticed that all the teachers I have ever had, with one exception, write in a strange mix of cursive and print. Usually there are random caiptals throughout as well. When I mentioned it to a few friends, they all said that they noticed the same thing.

how about you guys? Is this a trend among all teachers, or have my friends and I just been subject to a series of coincidentally similar teachers?

I do know what you're talking about, actually! I've noticed it mostly in middle aged people, mostly girls. My mom does it, and a lot of my female family members. As I've gotten older and started to write faster without thinking, I've noticed that I do it, too.

Not as extreme as what I think you're talking about, but I suspect that it'll get there. I think it looks kinda cool though, so I'm not too worked up about it. =) It's also easy to write this way, haha!

Yeah I have noticed. All my teachers do that. Even my English teacher and he keeps telling one of my friends to stop using random Capitals whilst he does it too!

My teacher usually just does it in normal handwriting. It makes it easier for my whole class to read it

I had this one teacher who would get lazy with spelling out long words and would just write the first few letters and scribbles lol!!
But I shouldn't be talking haha- I do that too xD I have weird hand writing that changes and kinda fluctuates with my mood lol
But most my teachers have pretty legible handwriting.

Actually, when I was still in school, I noticed this too. But never noticed enough to think about it. My father writes in ALL CAPS, but in the size that a lower case letter would be... it actually looks pretty cool.

I never really noticed a a trend. I have seen many different crazy writing styles, but not anything that many different teachers do. I will be a teacher (at least licensed) after December, and I do not do what you described. But my hand writing sucks anyway, so...... yeah.

I seen teachers write like that all the time. I think it's just a way that older people do. They write faster maybe because they are used to writing down grades and comments that it seems natural for them to write like that
Another thing, I write like a cursive/print style since 16. I noticed how faster I written down stuff and better my writing looks. Maybe I have the skills of a teacher lol.

My dad mixes cursive and print in a way that's pretty awesome. He prints most letters (especially ones that look stupid in cursive like s) and he connects all the letters together in words. He's old though, so that's probably the reason.

My English teacher wasn't even kind enough to throw in some print. She only wrote in cursive, and her handwriting was atrocious. Trying to read the notes she would write on our papers was nigh impossible.

I never really noticed. I mean, I guess, now that I think about it, but it doesn't really bother me.
