My first game ended up being that combo NES game of Super Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt. I couldn't play it very well, since I was still in diapers while I tried (though I was in potty training). After that, I might have played Super Mario Brothers 2 next, but after that was Dragon Warrior. I saw my father always playing it so I wanted to try. He had to explain some things to me, and I could not read at that point so he had to tell me what things said and where to go, but I had so much fun playing it. Long story short, Dragon Warrior taught me to read a little and has now become my favorite game series of all time (now known as Dragon Quest).

I remember when the NES 4-player game pad thing came out and my whole family played Gauntlet together. I'm sure we sucked, but was one of the most fun we had as a family, haha!
