Who here knows about the RPG toolkit? I was looking for RPG 95 but during my search I found it. I think RPG Maker is better but I was wondering if anyone here knew about it.

I used RPG Toolkit a LOOONG time ago, and that's when it really sucked. I don't know how well it is now days, but RPG Maker 95 is probably better, so I'd go with RPG Maker 95 if I were you. Or if you want a more up to date program, try using RPG Maker 2003, or XP. PM me if you want those 2 programs.

I actually like it better, It has more flexability, you can make cool events in your game with it like slot machines and anything It allows you to do. The new relese of it just came out on Christmas and its the most stable of the RPG toolkit 3 versions. Quote=Z"I think RPG Maker is better but I was wondering if anyone here knew about it." End quote. I lied, I've been working with the ttolkit for over a year. I prefer it for mor advanced games. If you want to see the full power of it go over to www.darkage.mysticsoftware.net and download Dark Age I . I found the RPG Toolkit because I was looking for RPG Maker. If you want to see my work on It head over to www.toolkitzone.com and go to the games section and click Land of Destiny Demo 0.02. after that if you like you can download the toolkit there.

you can find rpgtoolkit in www.rpgtoolkit.com or www.toolitzone.com. I have this rpg editor and I think the best side of this rpg editor is ou can make event a lot better(but it's hard to do) and you can make your own battle system (need to know about rpgcode to make it)

its a disgusting program who cares if it allows more options if the graphics and monsters and battlers look like crap
when someone starts playing an RPG the first 3-5 minutes is usually deditcated to admiring the:
Music
Battle Systemm
Graphics
Characters

and after you get your kicks off that THEN they want the story, its getting people interested is the problem... i used that program a while back, that was when i could not find RPG maker 2000 in english, ^^ thats my thoguhts on it
