4th position for the green jersey?! Really?! Wow, I wasn't expecting that at all, what a good surprise honestly

It looks more like yesterday was a half-dead day. Oh well, at least I did my part in keeping it somewhat active, LOL.

I guess it was not all to bad not having to struggle through a 4000 word post, but I guess it was a little less exciting.

I'm not all to sure what today is going to be like, whether I will be posting more or just reading threads. Either way, my goal will be to continue to maintain a lead with mostly quality posts.

Looks like Sept continues to grab anything and everything. I was on "vacation" yesterday. It was legit since I went out of town for the weekend. I suppose I can try to get a jersey tonight, If I'm lucky.

pacman1755 : LOL, well yesterday was pretty inactive. I happened to gain three out of four of those jerseys without any intention of doing so whatsoever, LOL.

One things for certain. I doubt that I will be going for green, so feel free to take that one, heh.

For some reason, if I do not even notice that I am posting a lot I managed to do 18 40-50+ word posts in less than an hour.

Today I managed to do the same with 100+ posts in around 45 minutes of actually posting. I was just randomly looking around the board for posts, I think the matter is just that my typing speed has been going up so much in the past few days that I am really hitting 100+ with ease.

septembern : Actually, I'd be lucky to take green since Fallman has 25 posts in the day. He might have it for today. Then again, I do feel like making last minute attempts. So I'll try it out before the night is out.

thing1 grabs his first Jersey.

Don't know what jersey I will be going for today, but I will definitely be trying for one. I will probably be starting late, seeing as I have some important business to tend to for most of the day.

I was quite amazed at how big of a traffic drop the site took from Easter, I honestly didn't know that many people celebrated it.

Its nice seeing me grab the green at the last minute. Heh, I actually doubted that I could get it. Well, I'm back in business. hm..maybe I should grab other jerseys other than just green every other day.

pacman1755 : Or maybe you could do it the middle of the day, instead of waiting until the last five minutes. I think that is cowardly... not giving others a chance to get it back. I can understand the strategy, but I just do not think what you did was right. Am I mad or upset that you took the jersey from me? Naw, not really. I just would have liked to have a chance to come back, instead of finding out right at the end is all.

thing1 : Yeah that's true. I actually had a real reason that I came around 10 at night though. I was out of town, but yeah, that might be cowardly. I've been on the other end of that attack, so maybe that should be rearranged to something more fair.

thing1 : True. Well, David has the right idea on how to fix that idea. Now if I try to grab it last minute, or the people who are online all day and wait to play hit and run, that can be stopped. Or, taken damage on them, at least.

Congrats on your first Jersey Thing1! I was hoping to be able to compete for a few Jersey's over the weekend, but I wound up being way too busy with friends and family to post anything. Hopefully I can try to catch up this week! lol

Midnight Penalty
For the Green Jersey, the closer it is to midnight, the less points you can earn toward it. So lets say someone gets it an hour before midnight, 4 points would be deducted from their total. 2 hours would be 3 points, 3 hours would be 2 points and 4 hours would be 1 point. Or we could base it off of percent. 1 hour before midnight and your total points would be decreased by 40%, 2 hours before midnight would be 30%, 3 hours before midnight would be 20%, and 4 hours before midnight would be 10%.

For the Red Jersey, it'd be a similar concept. 1 hour before midnight would be 1000 words or 40%, 2 hours before midnight would be 750 words or 30%, 3 hours before midnight would be 500 words or 20%, and 4 hours before midnight would be 250 words or 10%.

Just some possibilities to reduce the sort of stuff septembern does since it's not technically against the rules but makes it a little less fun for everyone else, especially those who can't be on at that time.

The red jersey should be like, only 2 points for the last hour, 3 points for the hour before, and so on. And for the green jersey, I think you go the tight idea. I just think that is should be the last 2 hours instead of the last 4 hours for the green jersey. And the last 3 for the red. That is my opinion.

And do you think of hiring me as a newb helper. I will be online a heck of a lot more now, that I got a lap top for Easter from the Pop's, and I fly out on Saturday, then getting active again that Sunday. I would not mind it at all. Actually, I would prefer having a  title or job of some sort, seeing as how I am well known, and becoming a little more active every week
