Not sure if some of you were noticing the site response time being kind of slow during peak hours but I contacted hostgator and they fixed the problem. This is what they said:

"The reason for the slow page load times appear to be related to the current Apache configuration meeting the maximum number of requests""

Anyways, that problem has been fixed. Enjoy lightning fast page loads now

legacyme3 : It was set to 256 simultaneous connections, they set it to 350 and I just now set it to 512. Setting it to 512 may have made the site a little slower, I guess I'll have to play around with this setting and a few other settings to get the site to top speeds.

Since the site got faster, the site's traffic increase a lot since more people are able to "fit" on to the server. The result was the site getting a little slower again, I adjusted some settings and sped things up a little. I've been doing hours of research and still trying to get the speeds even higher.
