I tried using the F2 and the F4 when I was playing Breath of Fire (SNES), but all I got were pieces of the on screen graphics turning black and no loading. Is the RGR Plug In a must have to save on the SNES, or am I just doing something wrong and I can save on the Java Emulator on SNES? Any help with this would be appreciated, as I have checked the help center and I am still not clear.

I'm not quite sure about saving with the Java emulators. I know the process is a little different. I've just always used the plug-in.

Honestly I would say to just download the Plug-In. It always works way better than the Java emulators, and has way more features.

That would be great if I could, but until I get my own computer, (and I don't know how soon or long that will be) I can only use this computer at the public library and it won't permit me to download the RGR Plug In, so I have to use Java. Also, whenever I hit the ESC button, it doesn't bring up the menu. The only thing that happens is next to the arrow on screen, a little icon appears as if it were loading, but nothing appears. Any way to loop around control menu and bring up the game menu, or is there any pre-configuration in the computer I can change?

I would like to raise this question as well. I'm using my computer @ work where we can't download anything. I'm playing Chrono trigger, is there a way to save with the Java emulator? I tried to hit escape and then press "save", but where do I load?

The instructions are on the Java frame:

SAVE/LOAD: This only works in games that originally support it.
SAVE: save within game, then save from menu.
LOAD: loading happens when game starts up.

You guys are saying that it's not saving or loading?
