Well everyone, what would be your opinion on this? What do you feel IS the best franchise ever?

Stuck maybe? I kinda am, there's a few I believed that were well done, and some that were well done and undermined.

If you do have a favorite on this, why do you feel it's the best franchise around?

One of the good ones is the "Tales of" series. It's one of the more undermined of the RPG series as people have not really heard of it. Very descriptive with their stories and it's very well done in concepts.

It's so hard for me to pick the "best" franchise. There are so many great ones.

Final Fantasy - Although this series has fallen off the past few years, overall it's still very impressive.

Mario - What else needs to be said? These games are always bringing new revolutionary things to the gaming community. Whether you like Platformers or not, you cannot doubt the impact these games have had in the gaming industry.

Mega Man - Whether you like the original series on the NES, or the subsequent newer games they are still all spectacular

Metroid - More of the same, great series.

Grand Theft Auto - Insane the attention that this series received from gamers, parents, media, and the government. Very fun series to play as well.
