This Video Game Quiz Completition will be based on the Mario series, this contest has limitations:
1. Can't be under 10 years old
2. Must be a member or trusted member
3. You must Have played atleast a few Mario games, if not, find some Mario games to help jog your memory.
4. There is only 8 rounds before the final round (round 9) comes.

Top 5 people win viz:
1st place gets 2,000 Viz
2nd place gets 1,000 Viz
3rd place gets 500 Viz
4th place gets 250 Viz
5th place gets 125 Viz.

That means I will give out a total of 3,900 Viz to the top 5!

I will need 10 people, fill in the line number with your name on it, I will be in charge if the completition.

This completition is VERY important, so signup!

I will not start the contest until 10 people signup.

All Local Mods and up will keep judge of the scores.

In each round, there will be 10 tasks, 1st place in the task will get 1 win.
At the end of each round, the last place person will be eleminated from the contest, from then on, they will be spectators.
If there is a tie for last place, there will be a tie breaker with "eeny meeny minny moe".
The person that gets called when I say the word "toe", that person will be eliminated.

When you get eliminated from the completition, I will summon you and say "You are now a spectator, you can't attend the contest anymore but you CAN watch."

Note: Do not use ANY game cheating device or cheats, use only glitches if it saves time.
Each task in the completition will take a week to get results, when all people are done early, Local Mods, you will notify me that all people are finished with the contest. Also, Local Mods, verify the people in the contest (no pictures required) and tell the people if they are speaking true times, or false cheating times.

For each task, you will be given a explation of the task.

When we are done with the signups, we can do round 0, a practice round to get started, in round 0, I will put up simple tasks or time attacks that are easy.
In round 0, no one will be eliminated, or get points for wins, just to warm up yourselves up for the completition.

Davideo7 : This contest will be posted as the "first video game quiz completition!" You can post this as a announcement if you want, it is optional. Since you are the owner of this site, you will not only judge, but also have the summoned people verify the signed up people's submission.

As for the signed up people in the contest, when you finish the task, you will say this, note that you must use a stopwatch or some sort of timer, no gameshark cheating or cheats, use ONLY glitches.
You say this in the post:
I finished the task with a time/score of [insert time or score you got]!

Remember, no lying, the judgers, rcarter2, tRIUNE, and Davideo7 will verify the people submissions.
At the end of a round or task, you will see the leaderboard for the current round.
I will show the leaderboard at the end of the round and show the final score, last place will be KO'ed from the competition and become a spectator for the rest of this completition, when the competition is fully done, I will give the top 5 people viz, after I give out all the viz, this thread can then be closed and I will post up future completitions hosted by me.

Got a couple things I gotta let you know. Before you post that mods or staff are going to judge, police, and monitor, and basically run something like this, you need to ask them first. Don't just summon them saying that they are doing it. Especially David. He already puts about 60 hours a week on this site, so he is extremely busy. If you noticed, he has been so busy that it the official monthly Retro Game Rooms weren't even made until today. He doesn't have the time to run every thread that a user makes and wants him to do. I actually don't have time to monitor this myself as I got Mod actions as well as RGR Staff actions to fulfill, a job, an internship at a school, and a wedding to plan. 

If you do get judges, I should let you know that you mentioned that they must use stopwatches, but there is absolutely no way a judge can look at a screenshot and know what their stopwatch said. They could do the 'compete for high score' feature because it tracks time, but those submissions are for score only, not time. It only keeps time in case 2 people have the same score. So like I said, there is no way to verify time. There is also no way for them to verify that there were no cheating devices used.

Looks I made a waste thread, sorry if I overdid this, I thought of this when I saw a video quiz for mario 64 on youtube.

This shouldn't have been made, wasted a thread and turned it into a disaster!

I actually think it is an interesting idea for a thread. I was just letting you know that if you want judges, just ask them first. Anyway, I have some suggestions to fix the issues I brought up. If they are screen shot competitions, it can be a simple case of first people to post the screen shot stays in and the last person gets booted out. Then you wouldn't need judges and it would require just a few seconds on your part to look over. However, if it is a game completion competition, you can simply wait to do this. In the future, David wants to implement a speed run option for people. It will be just like 'compete for highscore' feature that the games have, only instead of score, placings are based on time. So you can have them do their playthroughs there. Like the high score thing, it won't allow the use of save states, in game saves, or cheating devices. But this is in no way a disaster. It is more like a rough draft so you can find out what needs tweaking But unless the competition entails judging what was done better, then you might not even need judges.

Screenshot competition is what it is, I could have only just score and time attacks.
The time attacks that show the timer and the score showing the score the person got.

It will require ONLY screenshots, no judging will be needed.
In the screenshot, the following 3 things will must be in the screenshot, no emulators allowed:
The console running the game without gameshark
Controller must be shown, no turbo controllers can be shown
Television screen showing the score or time clearly

If all of that is shown in the person's camera, only then can he or she take a picture.

Remaining: 10 competitors
Level 0 Task 0 will begin when I have 10 competitors.

This will be hard, but it is worth bringing Viz to the top 5.
