Here's some of my artwork... I'm still improving everyday. I almost gave up, but my friends won't leave well enough alone.

They're all characters from a video game idea my brothers, my friend, and I have been working on.







And this guy's my D&D character:

Let's see most of those are quite nice but some of the things that could be improved are:

1. The first girl's left hand looks really really bad kinda like the sword is floating behind it. It makes the drawing look quite how can I say it... "inconsistent" at one point it's awesome and then the hand pops up. I would advise you to train on that.

2. The shoes in the second image looks rather big when compared to her legs. Might want to tell if the shoes are big or if she has abnormally large feet.

3. (This is just a personal preference of mine) Give your characters some meat and fat to eat. whilst slim can be nice looking it will just look weird when overdone, slight more fat around the stomach and hips area could help a lot. (But that's as I said just a personal preference of mine)

Argh, I know I suck at hands, but there is one thing I suppose I should have made clear as I posted the pics; my style is very cartoony. I draw skinny bodies and large feet on purpose. It's part of the style. But otherwise, I appreciate the critique.

1. amazing shading work. It fits naturally with the art and doesn't seem rushed.

2. Sometimes the work looks a *tiny* bit out of place; not bad, though. Just, like, the girl's shoes (one with pink hair) kinda looked a little curved

3. The expressions the characters make are cool they look professional!

Yeah, I know what you mean about the first girl's foot. And I think I know what you mean about how sometimes parts of it look out of place. I was staring at Ruchira's swords, and they look terrible. Let's just keep in mind that I drew all of this with a ballpoint pen and colored pencils. I have a very bad--terrible, in fact--habit of drawing in pen ONLY. I hate pencils so much; they smudge and mess everything up and because I am so used to drawing in pen, I press down kind of hard when I draw, so pencil doesn't even help much, because even when I erase, it's very clear where I messed up. So that would be one reason why there are mess ups and not much I could do about it.

Thank you for the critiques. I'm trying to see if I have anything else that needs a look over. I'm a little afraid to show off the portraits I did for the main character of the game... He's a rather boring, hickish looking kid, so there's really not much I can mess up with him. But still...

The swords look good. I like the drawings, especially seeing as it was done with minimal supplies at your disposal!

Thanks. I'm not exactly giving up, but I have considered getting somebody else to illustrate my stories for me. Really, I like to concentrate more on writing than drawing, anyway.
