I have been a glitch hunter for a while. Can you find any? Tell me and I may try them out!

The most funniest glitch of all is the BLJ (Backwards Long Jump).
Search this on YouTube: "Super Mario 64 how to BLJ"
One of the videos show it in a TAS emulator called Mupen64.
Find a video of a non TAS blj.
The easiest place is the side of the sand outside of the castle.

Watch the videos for examples of it.
One can use it to skip the 50 star door making it possible to beat the game with 30 stars (my minimum stars).
The MIPS bunny glitch can beat the game with 16 stars!

Search it NON TAS!
The side blj TAS runs can beat the game with no stars at all!
Search it TASed!

I know one that only works if you've got the game system and the game. Plus, it works with ALL GAMES ON THE N64! It's called the cartridge tilt glitch. But, be warned, that if you do this either to much, or terribly fail, that you can ruin either the game cartridge, or worse, the system.  What you do is you turn on the n64 with any game in it, or in this case Super Mario 64, go anywhere you want to, that means when you just begin, when you enter the castle, when you enter a level, etc. Now, put down the controller, and carefully grab the bottom corner of the game cartridge until you hear the music mess up and sound garbled. Then, stop pulling the cartridge up and just let it go. Mario should start acting all funny. You can still move around, but he looks funny and stupid. Though after a while the game will freeze, it's so fun until it does. Enjoy your glitch hunts now. 


(P.S: To start you cartridge tilt hunting fun, I would start with WCW/NWO: Revenge. I've tried it and it is hilariously funny. Have fun.) 

tall tall mountain underwater glitch (only in super mario 64 ds. maybe in 64) this glitch is easy to pull off. in tall tall mountain the owl from the tree right behind where you spawn in (stars 4 through 6) make the owl fly you to the mushrooms with four red coins and yellow block with an extra life land on the mushroom with the yellow box and jump on top of it and ground pound it. jump on the mushroom that warps you and you should be in the level filled with water and you can just swim everywhere

This is far by the best glitch ever...
I call it the,
FLOATIN' BOMB
To do this glitch go to bomb-bomb mountain, star 1. Go to the bomb near the cannon, Grab him then jump then ground pound.
 The bom-omb will be floating in the air! XD

I got one its in the first level of the game go under the first bridge you can see in bom-omb battle field then jump and hold the jump button then you will see what happens (I tried it myself)

I don't think that that is a glitch, but yeah it is really fun!

I will definitely look into this.

Try pillarless and cannonless.

Hard to explain but you can definitely find them on youtube. Cannonless will take some practice but not as much as you will for Pillarless.

Basically cannonless is getting the one star in Whomp's Fortress without activating the cannon to gain access to it.

Pillarless is gaining access to the pyramid in the desert without going atop the 4 pillars. However this one is painstakingly hard and requires a couple of other glitches to actually work (includes the floating bomb-omb while carrying it).

These are essentially speedrun tactics and speedrunners always try to attempt both these every run (if going world record they NEED to do them).

To beat Koopa The Quick in 0 seconds, Enter Bob-omb Battlefield and select the star for the Koopa Race. Once you enter, run over to the wing cap box and get the wing cap. Turn around and start running towards Koopa the Quick. Before getting to him, jump once, and then twice (while running, as if about to do a triple jump)while getting as close to him as possible, and after you do the second jump, hold the jump button down in order to sort of float, and hit it the third time just before hitting the ground (if you hit the ground at this point before triple jumping, you'd be too close to him, and he'd ask you to start the race, thus you'd have to run back to the cap box and start over). If timed correctly, you should immediately flip up and start flying just before coming in contact with him. Once you are flying, go over the first cannon near the Bomb-omb Buddies, and ground pound in side of it. Aim the cannon towards the island in the sky, and fire. Once flying from there, ground pound inside the cannon on the floating island. Once there, shoot to where the end-race flag is, and touch the ground once near the flag. If done correctly through out, the message asking you to to race will appear, and you can hit "Go!" to start the race, and the race will immediately end. This glitch will not give you the star for finishing the race, however, as for some reason, Koopa the Quick disappears once the race is "completed". The original level music is also replaced by the music during the race.

Another fun one to do on this level is to go up to a bomb-omb, and pick him up. Start running, jump, and throw the bomb-omb, and then pick it up again. If done right, you will be holding an enormous bomb-omb. If you do the previous steps, throw, and pick-up again, you will be able to actually carry the enormous bomb-omb pretty much anywhere until you run into something or grab a ledge.

You have to go to the bob-omb near the chain chomp, pick him up, and then quickly jump and throw him and walk toward it, then pick it up just as its about to explode, and if done correctly, you should have a large bob-omb in your hands and hear the explosion. Then if you do some sort of "event" like having a water bomb explode, you will be holding a water bomb. Its really tricky to do. Its best explained if you look it up on YouTube. Just go to this link,

There's so many, my favorite has always been flying into the stained glass window of the castle. I have no clue why, it's just a tiny extra room that it looks like they decided against it in the final version of the game. The bomb omb glitch is pretty cool too.
