Okay in Pokémon emerald there is an area called shoal cave. In this area you need to come here two times; ii once in low tide and once in high tide. My question is: does the clock in Pokémon emerald work? I'm just curious because if it doesn't then people will only be able to get the shoal shells. It is supposed to switch between low tide and high tide every four hours, did that remain the same even though this is an emulator or not?

Well as long as you don't receive a message in the game stating anything about the "internal battery running dry" then you should have very little to worry about. The only issue you'll have to look at is what time you set up at Littleroot Town. For example, if you set the game time to 8:00 A.M. and your real time is the same, then you oughta' head there by the low tide time. If you set it for a completely different time, then best to do the calculations in finding out what's the best moment to proceed.

Thanks a lot man! I never thought about going back to Little root to look at that but that is definitely a valid point! Thank goodness for the HM fly too or it would take forever to get there. Anyway thanks for answering so quick, and in-depth!
