I’m summoning you guys to see if you want to test this beta bfore the final version is released to see if it corrects problems you’re having with the current Plugin. I’ve gathered this info from various threads and PMs sent to the RGR Staff that seemed to not have a solution, if you already have the problem resolved then you can diregard this test.

I actually had to use the msi file to install it. The first one was fine at first, but eventually, the installation bar got stuck about halfway through and didn't budge for about 5 minutes. The msi installed fine. As for the screen shot issue, I am experiencing the issue you told me a couple days ago with the Sega games. I can take one screen shot, and I can retrieve it. However, I cannot take a second screen shot. It doesn't sound skip or anything. It just doesn't show any indication that a screen shot is being attempted. So far, that is all I am noticing.

I am still unable to take any screenshots on Genesis games using this version of the plugin. It has a little skip in the sound when I press F6, but the notification thing at the bottom doesn't make any mention of a screenshot successfully or unsuccessfully saving, nor can I retrieve any of the screenshots I attempted to take.

Edit: The above description appears to be unique to my laptop. My desktop, under version 1.5 (since I have too much running right now to install the beta), is able to take ONE screenshot, like rcarter. Future attempts provide the same problem as above, though. No mention of an attempt to take the screenshot aside from a slight sound skip, and I can't retrieve any screenshots beyond the first one I attempted to take.

Nope, sorry. Installed it and everything just fine, but there is still no option to go back to keyboard controls, and I am also still unable to take a screen shot. Once again, this is for the Genesis. Not entirely sure for all systems, but screenshot still worked fine on pkmn fire red for the GBA, so it might just be a Genesis thing. I'm not going to try the controller thing for the GBA, though, because I really like using the keyboard for Pokemon games. sorry

Hanna84 : The Setup.exe will automatically install over the current, no manual uninstall or install is needed for it. If you encounter problems with the Setup.exe you'll have to use the msi installer which will require manual install.

I'm not sure about getting the old Plugin back because when the current Plugin was released, it became required to install the new version in order to play Plugin based games. It will probably be the same scenario when the next version is released, but I'm not sure.
