Last night I tried playing Breath of Fire using the Virtual Super NES Emulator, and saving seemed to work fine. I saved a file to test it out, quit the game, re-opened it, and found my file loadable. However, I just tried loading the file again this morning, and it is gone with the game saying I can only start a New Game. I barely got anywhere last night, so it's not a big problem that what I did was erased; I can get back to where I was in a few minutes. However, it is a problem if I can't count on my saves being there in the future. Does anyone know how this save could have gotten erased, and if so, how I could prevent this happening in the future? Thanks a lot for the help.

brawlproV2 : Please don't just blindly respond to posts if you don't know what's going on. Even though it wasn't 100% clear he's using the Java emulator.

Michael91 : Sometimes the Java emulators can be strange. You would be better off downloading and installing the RGR plugin which allows you to use save states (Save anywhere in game) Found here: https://www.vizzed.com/boards/forum.php?id=12
