I was going to wait to post this until I had more pages completed of my Nuzlocke Crystal Comic, but the I thought hey. Maybe if I get enough people to read and reply, they can yell at me to update, thus motivate me to draw the next few pages.
(On the plus side, when I DO draw, I draw 2 or 3 pages at a time)

I will post the first five pages now to see if there's any interest to see more (I've only drawn 6 pages so far anyway).

( I dunno about you, but the first time I played this game and discovered the creeper by the
window would violently shove you away if you talk to him.... I just kept pestering the hell out of him....)



All art drawn on the website Tegaki-e, which is basically like MS paint with the ability to change opacity.

I just got my fourth gym badge, so you can see I'm seriously far behind in my drawings, but I haven't played Crystal in years so the game is just too addictive.

the rules I'll be following are as listed:
1. If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. Released or boxed forever.
2. Nickname EVERYTHING.
3. Only the first Pokemon encountered on a route/area can be caught. (Exception: Shiny and Legendary.)
4. Legendary cannot be used in game.
5. No Healing items allowed.

This is actually very good....some scenes and dialogue made me laugh, so I appreciate that. Other than the one curse word I saw (which should be edited or scratched out) this is rather very good and you should continue to create comics and anything else you're capable of! Thanks for sharing!

Are you going to add more coloring? I think it would look nicer colored.

YourMajestyKen : The website I create these on, Tegaki-e, can make coloring a bit time consuming so I'll probably only add color here and there. Drawing a full blown colored comic would take way to much time. Maybe once the comic is actually finished and my Nuzlocke is over, I may go back and redo the pages, but as of now, I'm going to stick to gray scale with the occasional splatter of color.

If I get a chance, I'll edit the curse to shiz, (I've also got to edit Silver's eye color, so yeah.)

Hmm... I wonder if you'll see a super cool Rattata in the next few strips? You know, a Rattata that can beat any Pokemon? I hope so, because that would be a cool Pokemon to hear about. In fact, I wish there was some kid I could talk to about Rattatas all day.

starwars293 : No, I purchased Pokeballs once I could. The only additional rules I'm using apart from normal Nuzlocke rules are the no healing items and no legends rules, so catching more than 6 pokemon is totally fair game.

Hawaiianbabidoll : Well, to be fair, Youngster Joey is pretty much my favorite character in all of Pokemon. Between him and the Youngster in Pokemon Red and Blue who tells you that shorts are delightfully comfy and easy to wear, I don't know who's better!

...Although Youngster Joey did appear in Pokemon Black and White, but without his super awesome Rattata.
