Due to the success of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, the Pokemon company has now been developing a brand new version for the Nintendo DS: Pokemon Platinum (Like I proposed to them a year ago, 99.9999% chance I won't be in the credits for showing them the idea)

So who else here is not surprised about this but just as equally annoyed? I swear to the Pokemon Gods if you create anymore new Pokemon I quit. 493 is enough.

The Pokemon Company is also considering creating a Gold|Silver|Crystal remake. This is what I stated on GameFaqs:

"Are you kidding? Nintendo will make a Pokemon PissYellow if it will get them money XD. They WILL remake GSC if they realize that it would bring in so much money it would knock them off their asses. Hell, then they could ship 4 more Wiis to us so our mothers desperately wait at the local Gamestop for one in stock----

Signs Nintendo will Remake GSC:
~It's only been a year and they are making PLATINUM which'll have the same crap, but like probably 1 more egg or something
~Pokemon Channel. End of Story.
~They don't care if their next Pokemon idea is a magical toilet monster that spits grape soda, they will make it a Pokemon and then make a game about it which will sell millions of copies, one copy of which I will be buying.

@ Bob: Platinum I am assuming would be the "special game" with the Diamond/Pearl series. Such as Yellow was for Red/Blue, Crystal for Gold/Silver, and Emerald for Ruby/Sapphire.

It doesn't sound like "Platinum" fits with "Diamond + Pearl"

Also, if it is, then they should've switched the names of "crystal" and "Platinum"
(That way, they all fit in each group of 3)
