My favorite is Mew.

Mew has always been one of my all time favorite legendary Pokémon because it was the first real mystery for the fans of original Pokémon.

Then its shiny form had to go and be blue. Blue is my all time favorite color ever.

I agree with you cat pup. Latios looks even greater with his shiny sprite. I personally have never acquired a shiny starter; it's too much work (or I'm way too lazy).
