I’ll give you my top 5. This list is based on gameplay,
music, bosses, and stages. With the exclusion of the easy and legendary Mega
Man 2, the rest will be based on difficulty too.

Number 5: Mega Man 10

Rating: 7.6/10

The Wii's 2nd Mega Man game, it's an incredible sequel to
the Mega Man 9. The gameplay is fairly easy but a few parts can be challenging.
The music is legendary according to NES standards, but not quite as much as its
predecessor. The bosses are also easy, but fun to play against buster only. The
stages are extremely fun, especially the Wily stages. The music for the stages
are good too. The game isn't difficult either. Overall this game is a 7.6 out
of 10.

Number 4: Mega Man 5

Rating: 7.9/10

The 5^th game in the mega Man franchise, Mega Man
5 is my 4^th favorite game. The gameplay is pretty hard compared to
the other original games and the music isn’t too bad. Plus, what’s cooler than
Mega Man fighting his brother Proto Man who turns out to be Dark Man right?
Anyway, the bosses were a bit boring but their stages for the most part made up
for the easy bosses. Plus, the Wily Stages, although a bit dull, were interesting
to say the least. I give this game a 7.9 out of 10.

Number 3: Mega Man

Rating: 8.1/10

The original Mega Man, this game is what kicked off the Mega
Man franchise. It was unique because it was the first game that provided the
player with a choice as to what order they take on the bosses. The original
Mega Man robot masters are very fun to take on buster only and this game has the
legendary Yellow Devil. The music was ok for its time and the graphics were
superior. This game, because of its superiority at the time, gets a 8.1 out of
10.

Number 2: Mega Man 9

Rating: 8.7 out of 10

The new kid on the block, Mega Man 9 revolutionized all NES
standards. A combination of mastery in music, incredible stages, and great
bosses makes Mega Man 9 the “cool kid” of NES. The graphics were amazing for 8
bit and the music sounded greater than any NES music has EVER sounded. Its
successor Mega Man 10 also continues the NES legacy. Because of these legendary
attributes, Mega Man 9 gets a 8.7 out of 10.

Number 1: Mega Man 2

Rating: 9.4 out of 10

I’m sure this doesn’t come as a surprise, but Mega Man 2 is
at the top of my list. The most legendary game in the Mega Man franchise, Mega
Man 2 is an incorporation of new ideas and gameplay that stuck with the later
games of the franchise and has legendary bosses such as the Mecha Dragon and
the Wall orbs. Gameplay was fantastic and there was an alien Dr. Wily as the
final boss. AN ALIEN!!! I found that cool when I played it. As legendary as it
was, the game was pretty easy, even on difficult mode XD! These amazing features
are why I give Mega Man 2 a 9.4 out of 10. Including some future features such
as sliding and charging, this game would be much better.
