I think mine was either Mario Kart 64 or Super Mario 64. I remember playing Mario 64 for the first time as a kid though and was thinking, "Man, this game is awesome! The music's great, it looks awesome, why have I never played this before?!" As for Mario Kart, I don't remember if my Dad had already owned it forever or if we got it from a friend. Either way, I still never played it too much anyway. But what's your guys' first mario memory?

Actually, my first Mario memory would probably belong to Mario Party 2. I played that game a lot when I was little. I don't think I had Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Kart 64 (though it's kind of hard to remember if I did).

I remember just playing Mario Party 2 a lot, especially on that one Western stage. I don't know why, but I always liked that one. xD

Other memories belong with Super Smash Bros and Mario in that game. I didn't use him much, but he was definitely a staple to the game.

I don't think I'd actually ever played video games before that day actually. Anyway, my Uncle Phil hooked it up and I got right into it. I always remember how mad I was because I couldn't make the jump over that first gap, ( where you get the 1-up mushroom) and threw the controller on the floor. It took a few tries, but I got it eventually. To this day I still love the heck out of that game and play it every chance I get.
