I love I'm Atlanta. We normally get none. But this year it was different. We got a lot more days then normal 2

More often than not, my school is the LAST school in the area that would close when everyone else does. And sometimes doesn't even do that at all, it gives only a 2 hour delay when our neighboring city closes their school. It sucks. So I would get maybe 1 - 3 snow days a year.

Well I'm not in school as of right now, but when I was in high school, I think we had a total of 9 or 10 days. That's in TOTAL, that's all 4 years I was in high school, there was a TOTAL of 9 or 10 snow days. As you can guess, I live in the south, so we don't get snow very much at all. Every once in a while, we'll get one flurry and the whole town freaks out and shuts down all the major roads and highways when they're just fine. Plus, usually when you get snow days, you have to make them up at the end of the year, which ends up cutting in to your summer, which isn't good news by any means.

Wow guys! Living in New York last winter was tough. We got one of the worst winters to ever hit the state. And yet the mayor and chancelor just say "we keep our stundents in school to prevent adoelecent behavior during the day"(when its storming so much snow outside we cant even take our parents with us to go grocery shopping.)

But this is Utah

Doesn't that suck? One time it snowed so much that the doors at the high school were actually blocked by snow and no one could get out. No snow day. The closest thing we've had was two years ago when they delayed school until 9:30 (only an hour) because we had freezing rain. Ever heard of freezing rain? It's when the entire ground everywhere becomes ice, so there's literally no traction anywhere in the entire upper half of the state.

This school has never had a day off since the 1940s when something bad happened that involved flooding. But yeap, this is chicago we are talking about though, so this city is loaded with salt. Gotta love the college life.......
