I'm curious how many hours we spend listening to music. I usually spend much of my day listening so I went with 5 hour(s)+.

I love African-American popular music of yesteryear and some of the contemporary stuff the most. That includes genres such as Blues, Jazz, R&B, early Rock & Roll, Soul, most styles of Electronic music I would say fall in this broad category, and (drumroll) Hip-Hop! I love the soul of it, the richness, improvisation, and it just speaks to me the most. However, I think I love music because I love the mathematics of it (even if it doesn't love me lol). I listen to music when I am traveling, when I paint, draw, laying down, sleeping, watching tv, when I'm in a place I don't want to be, and so on. I'll listen from the early morning to late at night and anywhere in between. I do not consider myself an audiophile because I have very little knowledge of the technical aspect of most music, however, lately I've really been learning some stuff.

But I voted for 4.5 hours because even though I love music- I, reluctantly, have to stop because my ears can't take constant sound- I get a head ache after a while so I just listen to music while I'm doing homework, bored, travelling, sketching, drawing, etc. But not while I watch tv lol

I listen to most everything (except most country and songs that have lyrics I don't agree with).
I listen to some old school (Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Sly and the Family Stone, etc), R&B, Gospel/Soul, Rock (usually Alternative like Coldplay but I can get down to some Journey type stuff), Jazz (it's so chill), string rock, classic/orchestra, electronica (Daft Punk!!), Reggae, and just about anything else that sounds good to me ♫♪♫♪

I usually listen to music for 10-14 hours a day (on average)

I honestly don't even try to keep track of how much I listen to music anymore. All I can properly confirm is that it is a huge portion of my life and that it is many hours each day. It acts as both a means to entertain me, and as a final refuge and escapism when all else fails. It is a part of who I am, and I do suppose it is logical that I listen to a lot.

I mainly listens to pre 90's music but there are a few exceptions. I usually goes through a variety of genres but blues and blues rock are high up for me for both auditory tastes and the emotional connection.

I listen to music around 7 hours a day.

Music is pretty much all I do besides video games.

I spend about 4-4.5 hours listening to music.

Most of it is out of me posting and need something that will keep me busy while I post.

I listen to music all the time... I hate being on the computer with no music playing.

Overall about 16 hours.

I think i can only last around 2 hours listening to music...sometimes not even. I dunno. I'm not all that musical.

Well it depends on my mood...actually when am doing a job like this I really like to have a music accompany me....it can go for 2-3 hours lol..

At least 3 hours. I listen to music when I go to sleep and it takes a while for me to fall asleep.

I used to listen to at least 3 to 5 hours, but now I'll be lucky if I have time to listen to music.

I listen to music a lot every day, so I chose 4-5 hour's or whatever the vote thing said. I normally listen to the artists C418, Tim Hughes, and Daft Punk. And I love the music styles of Electronica and Classic Rock. I also listen to absolutely funny music like Make 'Em Laugh.

LOL I'm listening to music as I'm posting this. I listen to music every single day for 7-8 hrs and 2 hrs before bed. That's how addicting it is to me lol.

I usually listen to about 3 hrs of music a day so I listen to music about 995 hours during a years time 998 hrs during leap years 

I listen to music at least 8+ hours a day. I listen all day at work, and then I go home and play Pokémon and listen some more.

Some days if I'm doing a lot of client work at my desk I could listen to music for 5 hours. Other days I might only listen to a half hour or so. A lot of times in the car I'm listening to sports radio to keep up with my favorite teams.

I listen around 3-3.5 hours. Most of the time Im listening to punk rock, but I will admit listening to a little Adele now and again.

I listen to music for about 10-20 hours a day depending on my mood.

Today, probably 12. Not a great mood today.

I listen it to maybe 4 hours. It depends if I choose to listen to a song, or if I have a song stuck in my head and decide to listen to it.

Probably around 4-5. I listen to it while exercising and while doing late night homework.

Often on here as well. I only listen to a batch of about 12 songs repeating over and over. Never gets tiring though

I usually listen to about 1 or 1 and a half of music a day because i usually be riding with my cousins and we be having the music on. On weekends i listen to about 30 mins because i be at home.

I listen to music literally about 18 hours a day. I listen to music while I am even asleep. The only time I may not listen to music is when I am watching a video; but if the video has no music in it itself, I will literally put my own soundtrack on quietly, unless it's a creepy video like a Marble Hornets video or something like that.

The only other time I am not listening to music is when I am playing perhaps a game. But game itself has music so I dunno if that counts; a lot of games I play also have great soundtracks I love listening to by themselves anyways.

I voted 1 - 1.5 hours. I do listen to music about 2.5 - 3 once in a while, but not very often. I normally prefer to listen to sports radio over music.

I listen to about 3-3.5 hours on a regular school day, but listen to about 6-6.5 hours when I have no school. I just really like to listne to music while I am posting or playing some games that have no sound or is boring.

I'd have to say at least 4 hour's a day, if not more. When I'm on the computer or drawing, I need to have music playing, especially if I'm drawing something. It helps me focus. I don't think I could go a day without music honestly.

I would say I listen to music at least 10-12 hours of the day. T.V. Doesn't have anything on it anymore to look and Sip Tha Kid (@Sip_Eze) is getting ready to release a mix tape so between that a lot of music is played.

Oh, probably only about an hour a day or so. Not too much that I get bored of the music, and not too little that I don't even know the songs I'm listening to!

Honestly, I know music is a big thing for most people, but I'm not so into it.  I listen to it if I need some motivation to get my grading done. Other than that, I really never listen to it.

I try to keep music going constantly because it helps me feel better. Lately, I haven't been though. Dunno why...

I listen to about 1 hour per day on my Ipod while I do my school. It mainly consists of Sonic tunes from modern Sonic games.

On average? 0 hours, 30 mins. That's not because I only listen to select artists or genres, however. I like to think I'm broad minded when it comes to listening to music, because I like every genre for what it has to offer and every one has a cream of the crop that are always worth listening to.

I listen to music the time I started my laptop and I stop when I close my laptop . So maybe around 5 - 6 hours !
