Pikachu. Cool, corny, or killed

 
How do you think of the star of Pokemon now? Its simple really, many people love pikachu, some hate because how hes dragged out in the series, and some just figure, why is he not evolving yet after so many seasons! Well...what do you think?

This has to be one of the easiest poles known to the history of gamer and Pokémon fan kind. Pikachu, the star of Pokémon, a cute electric type mouse that packs a punch. From thundershock, to thunder ball, this little sparky is a strong Pokémon...

But many people has now decided that they are tired of Pikachu. "When will he evolve? When will he leave the series?" Honestly, its a tie for me. Sure Pikachu should be evolved by now, god its been, what, twelve seasons? But yet he still holds a place in my heart. So I think I'm the neutral zone for this choice.

However for the rest of you, think it out. What do you believe?

Cool: Pikachu is still epic
Corny: Pikachu should get something new or something
Killed: Just go away already you annoy us

Nice thread.

Personally, I don't think Pikachu should ever evolve...that would just ruin everything in terms of the Anime. People are used to Pikachu.....considering it's been through all six generations. Pikachu evolving now or upcoming would make no sense.

I'm in between corny and cool. On one hand, Pikachu is pretty much the icon of Pokemon and it shouldn't be changed at all. On the other hand, there really aren't many new things you can do to strengthen this bond between Pikachu and Ash.

Actually, the anime as a whole is getting pretty stale. I wouldn't mind if they came up with something new.

I don't know. He is a cool Pokemon and all, but people just go very overboard with him. I don't want him to go away. I just want people to stop hyping him for everything Pokemon related.

Pikachu was actually kinda cute in the first season and even was still sort of entertaining in season 2, but now it is just pretty much played out...
I mean, does Ash ever actually EARN a gym badge anymore??? It's like he uses all of his other pokemon for fun, and then when he's tired of playing around, he sends out Pikachu and then BOOM automatic win...
Well, at least that is what it seems like to me...
