Overall - 9.5
Mega Man Legends also known as Mega Man 64 (as what it is called on the Nintendo 64) is one of the greatest Mega Man games I have ever played. There is finally a Mega Man game that is 3D instead of 2D, which I personally think that all the Mega Man games that are made in 2D seem to be very hard and very complicated. In this game, it is more like an adventure and it is a lot easier to avoid enemies. I really like playing this game a lot because of its story and that you can move around instead of moving left and right. I remember playing this game a long time ago when I was little and I would get to the part where the ship crashes and I would not know what to do. After playing it now, I am pretty much half finished with the game and I love it. I guarantee you that this game is a whole lot of fun than any other Mega Man game.
Graphics - 9
The graphics really got a lot of tension because it was a lot cooler and made it look more fun. I like the effects in the game with the shooting and the items. It really suits the game. You can even change your blaster color (I do not know how) by applying any stats upgrade like attack, energy, etc. You will not know what color it would be, but I had a red and green before. Other than this, the graphics for everything else is amazing.
Sound - 7
There were some sound issues in the game (the emulator is not the responsibility for it). The background music was very good, but when it comes to a scene where there is a conversation going on, the people's voices seem to be a little low toned and there is a little hard to understand. Other than that, the sound effects really kick it off. The sound effects sound like it would be back from the old games. I really enjoyed it.
Addictiveness - 8
This game can be addicting some of the time. Since I loved playing it, I would play it about 3 to 4 hours, which can happen on some of the day per week. The game is a lot of fun.
Story - 9
The story is pretty cool from the start. Mega Man is in a building and either tries to get something in there or tries to escape. Anyways, once Mega Man finally gets out of there and goes into Roll's ship, they seem to be having some issues with the engine. It starts to stop and they suddenly crashes into an island. It is up to Mega Man to help with the island and fix up the ship. This is not really a good explanation, but it is the just of it. During game play, it is more interesting.
Depth - 10
This game has a lot to offer. For instance, you can find interesting items that you can give to Roll to make interesting weapons. Another thing is that you can get items to upgrade your primary weapon into making it stronger. Also, the game play of the entire game is very interesting. There are so many things to explain in the game that makes it fun, but this is all the basic things.
Difficulty - 5
The game is a 50/50 on the difficulty. I think that in some parts of the game, it is easy and some of it can be very difficult. On a count of how far in the game I am, it is straight on easy like it would be in the Normal difficulty, even though you can choose the difficulty in the game. The enemies are simple, but some of them can be hard. The bosses are what you need to focus on because they can damage you very badly. I would recommend getting items that will help you in the game.
Wrap Things Up...
Mega Man Legends is a very good game to play. I highly recommend trying this game out if you have not already. It is very fun and a lot of Mega Man fans would enjoy playing this.
