Love as in terms of a girlfriend/boyfriend--husband/wife relationship.
Friendship as in a close/tight friendship.
Honestly, I think, in this time in the world, friendship can sometimes be stronger than love/sexual relationships.
I think that love is out there, but nowadays, finding a true and lasting relationship is difficult.
As the saying goes: Lovers come and go, but friends are forever.

I'm going to have to go with Friendship. Love can be a very powerful thing, and it can be as strong as steel, but because of it's intensity, it can also be brittle... and if it breaks, what you have left is your friends. In many ways, love is a more intense and intimate version of friendship, but friendship can survive more things and can go places that love cannot. I'm not sure if I am conveying this well... I hope so.

Yeah its true ...what I think is that the relation between man and woman has evolved a lot..and constantly it is still evolving...so love beyond man and woman in a way has evolved..the meaning maybe is the same...but other ideas is coming in between..I think...the perspectives are gradually changing with time....

Friendship also changes but people not far too much that people will really notice it...as it goes...it looks like Friendship lasts longer....in a way.

I agree with Leggy. You can't be in love if they aren't at least a friend. My fiancee is my best friend. We don't rush into anything either, as we will have been together for 6 years before we are married, so we have had time to really build on that friendship bond before taking that plunge.
