I own this game since 11.11.11 ... I didn't check the playing time, but I'm a dunmer lvl 48 right know. I make insane paper with crafting and selling magical jewellery

I know the Elder Scrolls since playing Morrowind. With it's endless universe of cultures, stories, quests etc., I could say, those are the best open-world rpg's (OFFline).  Skyrim = Game of the Year

I have played through Skyrim a little bit and it's a pretty fun game.
Skyrim is also my first TES game that I've ever played so I didn't know what to expect. It is an amazing game with good graphics and gameplay.

My main hero the male Nord continues to have no bugs at almost 200 hours. One of my characters didn't get the option to buy the Whiterun house, everything was completed but just didn't happen, then another did get the house but the weapon rack and plaques don't function at all, strange how thing differ with characters.

|--| :

All that would do is raise your Smithing (and presumably Speechcraft) skill.

As such, while your level and health will raise, your combat skills won't be as great compared to how they should be. While you have all those iron daggers you could want, you'll need to get good at things like magic or block.

hawkwind_dragon :

I've only played 500 hours with my Imperial. Not. One. Bug.

I did the main quest early in the game, it doesn't change the rest of the game since you still get dragon attacks.  Maybe saving the civil war till later is better since it may effect some quests such as someone in Solitude you need to talk to is no longer there but the marker arrow of his location is. But that's only if you choose Stormcloaks.

thenumberone : I had a glitch with a character buying a house in Riften, Talk to the Jarl then buy the house but then you have to talk to the Jarl again before viewing the house or you can't get any required dialogue. That wasn't with my main hero so waited till I became Thane then got the house.

I got this game for Christmas: EPIC. I love how the world is so big, and free to explore (no more map border holes, yeah!).

I also found a trick to beating dragons that make it much easier: ingredients. Example: thisle = frost resistance = less damage from frost breath.

I have certainly been smitten by Skyrim.  I am a Nord, level 31, with my main skills usually focused towards Smithing, One Handed and Light Armor.  I just raised my Smithing skill to level 100 yesterday, and I swear. That dragon armor is frigging beast. I decked myself out in Dragon Scale armor, and I made Lydia some Dragon Plate armor.  I'm not sure how many hours I have logged for it but I'm sure it's a considerable amount due to all the things that I have done in the game.  It was really worth my money.

I heard of Skyrim before thanks to Leggy. lol, but I find it an alright game for those guys who like living a life in a game. I suppose its similar to WoW, but in a cooler way, and more in touch with today's graphics/gameplay.

I played a Nord male for 192 hours then started a new game with a female High Elf. As a Nord you follow more of the Nord ways but as a High Elf it's a different path. One quest I never got with my Nord is the Dawnbreaker Sword, that is the coolest sword in the game. It's more like a tai chi sword than the others and glows when undead are near. Fargas of the Companions sent me on a mission and found the start of the quest. My Nord used a Blades katana pretty much all the way through.
