There really isn't one that doesn't have some sort of main storyline. The elder scrolls or newer fallout games have some of the most open paths. There are main story lines, but plenty to explore and do beyond them.

Minecraft is RPG like, but there really isn't an overall goal aside from survive that I'm aware of.

The only game I can think of that lets you entirely make your own choices is pen and paper D&D.  You are only limited by your imagination.

Some of the older RPG's like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest are ambiguous in the way that you progress through the game. You get a very basic outline of what's going on, that there's evil involved and you have to stop it, but you don't get specific directions on where to go. You can find those for the NES in the RGR.

I currently play Minecraft everyday, they have updated it and now it is finished, with a story line to kill a dragon, and fall out makes you do this and that. I havent played a game with no story and i prob. Wont.

Thanks for the replies. I knew that there wasn't going to be any out there but a game where you make all of your own choices would be awesome if it's done correctly. I never really got into Minecraft anyway, besides I have Fortress Craft for the Xbox 360

Well I would say the only thing that there really is as far as that is MUD's. You can do what ever you please in those and play how you want. They are fun with the right people.
