I prefer checkers more usually only based on the fact that not many people play chess that often. And plus the fact I've rarely played it so i'm not that great at it either...

Least with checkers its easier to think of future moves as pieces can only move in a maximum of 4 directions xD

Anyway, checkers has gotten boring for the most part. It is hard to find someone who is 'good' at checkers.
