Hello, while playing "Streets of Rage" from the Genesis emulator, I wanted to configure the controls To the way I wanted, but when I clicked to reconfigure the keys, the text telling me to press a button for the new key, had quickly changed into the next button, and then the next, and it keeps going on until all of the keys that I should press ends, trying to check if I had to press the buttons at the same rate that the text asked me to press each key, I kept pressing enter trying to do something that could make the text passing so quickly, so I could insert each key.
I gave up trying to edit the controls, then, when I tried to play the game again, the keys din't work, apparently, when I pressed enter, in a random press, the game had reacted to enter.
The next day, I tried to play the game again to see if it was just a glitch that had happened (with the thought that the controls would continue not responding, because I know that everything is saved on Vizzed) I tried to press random buttons, then I discovered that all of the controls had been stored in Number Pad 6, I tried to reconfigure the controls again, but now, every time I try to reconfigure the controls in the Genesis Emulator, Firefox freezes, and I need to Ctrl + Alt + Delete to close Firefox then restart it, and I can't do anything with the Genesis Emulator anymore.
This happens to all of the Genesis games I had played until now.

Try a different browser I guess. I am running on Chrome and it is fine on this end. I would say that it is probably your best bet to just try something else and hope that it works.

billythekidmonster : I tried everything I could, installed Google Chrome, I tried to repair the plug in and  reinstalled the plug in.
There is nothing I can do in my end, there is no way for me to fix it.
I need another solution for this.

Genesis always crashes when I try to play it, so I doubt I can be of much help.

I can't even load the Genesis games now for some reason, so I would probably pin the Genesis errors to the current plugin. I was able to test the button reconfiguration, however, and never had this error. Your OS may or may not be a factor on that regard. I'll do some more looking into the issue and see if I can find anything to help you.

Actually this problem was present with the old version of the plugin. For reasons unknown to me, when I tried to configure the controls on an old PC in the Genesis emulator, what happened was that I could no longer use the controls for any of the Genesis games. I logged into another computer and the controls were usable.

I'm not sure of a solution, I've tried and failed with something in the old version, it might work with the new one though, but not sure. Run a Windows search for vizzedrgr which will find the folder in your local settings. Then in that folder delete the Genesis folder and then play a Genesis game and see if the controls will work then.

I've never bothered playing the Genesis on here since it's the one system that never works for me control wise.

If it's on the SNES you may as well play it on those systems. It's less of a hassle to get those working.

tRIUNE : How I can make a windows search on my computer? (I use Windows XP Starter Edition)

It will be in the Start Menu for "Run".

tRIUNE : I tried to make the exact search you told me to do, It showed a error pop-up saying that the computer din't found the "vizzedrgr".
Could you give me more choices of search I could make for that?

Oh, I'm sorry *facepalm* it's not Run. It's Search.

The Genesis game station problem which happened at 11-18-11, was fixed at 02-09-12 by downloading and installing the RGR plugin 1.5, now I can edit the controls nicely to the way I want to configure.

I declare this long problem SOLVED.
