Star Fox on the Atari 2600 is not what I expected it to be.  When I tried it out, my first thought was that it was kind of fun until I got to the controls.  They were so confusing to me that I had a hard time shooting at one of the ships.  I guess I am not that good at this game.  This game may be hard for me, but it is possibly easy for some of you.

Graphics - 7

The graphics were okay.  It is what I expected it to look like in an Atari game.  The effects are pretty good.  The shooting rays really got my attention cause they looked really interesting.

Sound - 8

The sound was so far out of the game, but it sounds good.  For instance, there were no music, but the sound effects were very good.

Addictiveness - 3

I would probably not play this game much because like I said I am not very good at this game.  It looks fun, but be careful and "do not judge a game by its cover."

Story - N/A

There is no story in this game.  All you do is go around shooting at ships.

Depth - 3

There is not much to say about this game.  You just basically go around shooting and that is all.  Since this game is so hard for me to play, I would probably never know if there is levels or a different game play.

Difficulty - 8

Like I said, the controls were so hard for me.  I would move everywhere and shoot constantly and a ship would shoot one ray at me and I would actually get hit by it.  It is really ridiculous to see that over and over again.  Never played a game that would be not fair.

Wrap Things Up...

Star Fox is very popular, but this game seems to not interest a lot of people.  I would not recommend trying this game out, but if you want, you can.  I am not holding you back on this game, but just letting you know, it got me frustrated and it might make you feel frustrated.

I think that not many people played it because it was not made by Nintendo... Anyway looks like it could be a really cool game but I would rather just play the one on the SNES, that one looks better.

I had absolutely no clue that there was a Star Fox for Atari. I always assumed that it started with the SNES. Too bad it is apparently a dud.

Star Fox on the Atari isnt anything special, its the early versions of Star Fox, but still, its nothing I got excited for.

I'm not really into Star Fox games but I might like the 3DS remake even though it is the same thin as the original but just in 3D.
