Just wanted to say hi to all you other members out there. I'm new and can't wait to play some games. The reason I joined vizzed is because I love video games, and I don't think I can truly call myself a gamer without finding out what it would be like if I went back in time and saw when Link saved Princess Zelda for the first time, or when Samus killed Mother Brain and barely escaped Zebes in one piece. Oh sure I know the story but I haven't witnessed the battles. And when I play the game I don't just play it, I become the character and it's as if I just killed Ridley or saved Princess Peach. Games are a way for me (and my family) to explore a world unlike the one we live in. And I find this just as easy to do whether I'm exploring Tallon IV or the 8 bit version of planet zebes. I'm sorry if I'm creeping some of you out... I tend to ramble on when it comes to my passion for gaming. Video games are my favorite things besides family (friends don't exist in my world, you're either family or your not), books (love the Vlad tod series), and music (I don't like only one genre, I listen to music for the sake of music and try to keep an open mind. Except when it comes to country, I hate country and you can't convince me to like it ; but if you like it that's fine. I'm not going to criticize you if you don't like this or that ; if you like what I like, great, if you don't like what I like, great.) Now I'm getting a bit off topic, or am I. You see the things I love like books and family and music can all be linked to video games and I guess that's why I love them so much. I love the effort that goes into the story of the video games I play, one of my favorite songs is the Kraids Lair theme, and most if not all of my family plays video games. Wow, guess this post is getting a little long... um well since I'm new I'll probably have a lot of questions. I just hope everyone is nice to me when I ask them. And I hope that after joining vizzed I joined a network of people who also have a passion for gaming.

I wouldn't say you were rambling about video games as much as you have captured a big reason why they are so entertaining and addicting --positive or negative, take it as you will. As much as I came here looking for games, I quickly got into the swing of posting on the Vizzed Board. If you are ever interested, check them out.
