It's a tough decision, but Metroid Fusion is my favorite of the series. It's just classic..and really addictive once you start playing. Epic boss battles, perfect difficulty, this game has it all. No disrespect to any of the other games. It's really a fantastic series.

I would have to say Fusion as well. I played that game to death as a kid and it still holds up today where as some of the others are not quite as impressive anymore.

Those are good Metroid games, but Super Metroid is probably wins my vote, its pretty fun and it is what really gave Metroid the spark it needed.
