It appears that Vizzed may have been flagged by AVG, Google and/or Firefox as having malware and/or viruses but that is not true.  I'm not sure why this happened but I'm thinking a competitor site has falsely reported vizzed as having harmful files.

If anyone else is noticing these problems or has more information, please report it here.

Ok I've discovered the problem.  Someone injected a virus into the RGR that ONLY attacks your computer if you're a search engine bot.  No one knew about this because it doesn't attack normal users, but only search engine bots which resulted into search engines detecting the site as having a virus.  From what I can see, this was injected into the file on the old server, it shouldn't be a problem with the new server since Linux is more secure when it comes to stuff like that.  I have fixed the problem and hopefully search engines see that the problem has been fixed and no longer show vizzed as being harmful.

It sucks a few people have to ruin a good thing for everyone.

This site IS safe. I'm on it all day every day, and I never have issues aside from the MySQL errors anymore.

And those are supposed to happen every day I think at a set time.

I'm running multiple anti-virus scanners including AVG and I haven't gotten any warnings. I can't think of what could have caused this apart from false reports by other sites (or possibly angry users who got themselves banned).

This isn't right Vizzed is virus/malaware free. I think an owner of another site might do that because Vizzed might be more popular in other words it might have been done out of jealousy.

I have AVG and it has not reported anything to me yet and I completely trust that vizzed has no harmful files that will affect my computer

It looks like it will take a bit for the change to take place because when I go to the RGR, the warning still pops up...

But I can also testify that Vizzed is definitely virus-free. I've had no problems with it in the time I've been here.

I don't think that there is any problem with this site; it is safe....I got McAfee and Norton they report it sound and in good order...and I never got any problem with....at all....It is full proof safe.

I've used my Avast to scan the site as well, it's showing perfectly clean on all ends, marks, files, and links now.  I use Firefox quite often too, and I know there are several Google users here as well.  My Firefox/Avast code reads 82% favored by all who have come and 17% not voted... enough said.  This site take perfection of retro gaming and toons to a new level.

If I had to make a serious educated guess on this, I'd pin it upon someone who was ban within and seeking their own egoist revenge for it.  I'd suggest taking a moment to see who was removed recently from the lists and maybe that should help you get a better start on where the false report came from.

Davideo7 : I had scanned the site with my quick heal security and it does not show any virus/ma aware. But whenever I linked the Retro game room my browser (Google chrome) warn me that it harmful.

I scan the site using Avast Antivirus and McAfee security scanner but the site has no malware or virus...I think google and firefox was wrong, the site is completely virus free...

WHAT?! REALLY?! I don't have any virus with Avast!, that doesn't make sense!

But if the responsible of this "attack" is just a jealous person who wants to ruin the existence of Vizzed Board, then I shall say... HOW DOES HE DARE?!

That is really pathetic. Hmmm, my Norton doesn't seem to have done anything, but then again, it might be from the time where I edited some of the features when the Vizzed Chat Room had the black hole.

Where do we see that it is flagged?

Wow, that's seriously pathetic, honestly. People really needs to just leave Vizzed alone, and not hate on it.

My AVG Anti-Virus detects nothing from Vizzed, and it's all clean, and even if it had a virus, I would just report it and think it's not from Vizzed itself. The last time my AVG detected anything was with the blackhole virus a while ago.
