All of the games that use Java Emulators are back up. The save files should also be back up and working for the Java emulated games.

The play Window for the games are a little different and have more information on them.  Also, JavaBoy play screen is bigger and VizzedAEPgb play screen can be enlarged (see instructions on the play window to the right).  I hope the info to the right side of the java game play windows aren't very intrusive.

The Java Emulator and games are now located on a different server. This means that even if Vizzed goes down, you'll still be able to continue playing your game and may also be able to save and load. It also means that if vizzed transfers to a new server, those games wont go down since they wont need to be transferred. The ability to take screenshots with the NESCafe and VizzedAEPgb has been removed and timetrial mode with NESCafe will be stripped soon (and replaced with the ability to do timetrials in the RGR Plugin).

I know I said that you'd be able to continue playing your game even if vizzed goes down but it doesn't do you any good if you can't access vizzed while it's down to find other games to play. I've got a solution to that: Facebook App. That's right, I'm announcing it right now for the first time, sometime in the future, I'll be putting together an App on Facebook that will allow you to navigate the Java based games from the RGR right on facebook AND you'll be able to load/save your save files on there as well.

If you have any problems or questions, please ask in this thread.

My questions might be stupid or not make sense. For that I apologize. I'll try to make it as clear as I can.

1. How do I even play the java emulator games? I've never played those here before.

2. Are some of the games on a new emu now instead of the old ones? Or only some games?

SunflowerGaming : Well, the first one is easy. On games that can be played with the Java Emulator, there is a button to play with the Java Emulator. You just click that instead of on the Play with Vizzed RGR Plugin. I have no idea on the second one there.

And David. It looks like the SNES Java Emulator isn't up yet. At least, It won't let you try. "Online SNES Java Emulator Currently Unavailable".

Hmm...*sigh* sounds cool that Java will not quite need to depend on Vizzed but it sort of sucks that it requires Facebook. I know it's sort of the standard but...yeah, couldn't it be possible to have something like how the chat room is set up where you have another link entirely to bypass Vizzed and reach the games when the site is down?

I'm having a problem.
I can't load my Pokémon Crystal data. I only play that game, but it says there was no data found.
Help, please. =D

I highly doubt there will be a way to fix it, but here it goes.

When all of this transferring and such started, I was playing a Zelda game. I then noticed the file was no longer there. During the down  time I created a new account. Now the present time arrives. The old file did not come back, but the new file did. I could use some help, spent about 7 hours on that save. Thanks

SunflowerGaming :
1. Most computers have java installed and if you do, all you do is click to play the game and that's it.  Similar to how flash works.
2. All of the games that were java based before are still java based, no new systems.

silverthundr : I'll get to that in the upcoming week.  SNES Java emulator has actually been down for months.

Redrunelord : It only requires Facebook if the site is down.  I could probably come up with a solution like that but the problem is, users wont know where to find the page if the site is down.

RavenFreak : When was the last time you played it?

weaklygood2 : You would need to use your other user account to access your old file.

I tried out a couple of my favorite games in the RGR, and they all works. Java is working fine, except for the SNES Java, but seems like you got it all under control.

Snowdeath : Thanks for verifying that they work.

Howard Ma : Probably this upcoming week.  The Java SNES games have actually been down for quite a while.

There should be an offline game server which lets users play Retro Game Room games they own outside of vizzed. The game collection and updates on files are given through internet every time the plug in is used.

survyguy79 : The problem with that is, the ads are what fund vizzed and if people could play the games with some offline app, they would no longer be viewing the ads on vizzed and if everyone did that, the site would go out of business.  The servers cost around US $1000 a month.

RavenFreak : If a save file was created a few days before the transfer than there's the possibility that a save file was lost, sorry.
