I don't know why people keeps complaining about this. It's really easy!

All you need is two phoenix downs.
Use one of the phoenix downs on the other phoenix down, which revives the phoenix, which gives you a phoenix down phoenix.
Now, use the fire4 spell on the phoenix down phoenix, which transforms it into a fried phoenix down phoenix chicken.
Feed a chocobo the fried phoenix down phoenix chicken, and it turns into a fried phoenix down phoenix chicken chocobo.
This time, use the fire5 spell on the fried phoenix down phoenix chicken chocobo, and you'll get the secret item "fried fried phoenix down phoenix chicken chocobo chicken".
Now, play to the point where Aerith dies, and give her the fried fried phoenix down phoenix chicken chocobo chicken before the cut scene ends.

After you've done this, start up Kingdom hearts. AND BAM! There she is, alive in Traverse Town!

The problem is, that once she's in Traverse Town, you have to find a way to get her out, since she's resolved to fight the Heartless in Kingdom Hearts.

Using the new save technology that connects KH to KH2 to FF7 (to be released on PS4), you need to beat both KH and KH2 on proud mode without getting hit once, and beat all the optional bosses using the bonus keyblade with 0 STR and MGC, and no abilities set.

Once you have done so, you need to save the game in the 63'rd save file on both, transfer the save to the PS4, and then die to an enemy near Midgar, any enemy will do.

As you are dying, Aerith will come out of nowhere, use a Phoenix Down, and shuffle your character out of the party.

Finish the battle with Aerith alive to continue.

How do you revive Aerith? Easy....you don't. However, you can beg for Sephiroth not to kill her or get there before she dies *troll face*.

I mean technically she's part of the lifestream and is protecting the planet.. How much more alive do you need her to be....

Plus she even has dialogue after her death scene.... mainly on the mountain.. So yeah.... 

Either way when a characters limit break can make you invincible, chances are they wont stay around for long...

But in the spirit of the game. I'd simply just ask shinra to do some weird experiment on her to make her immortal... hey if they could do it to Vincent why not aerith

I heard that in the FF7 remake that they are putting a way to resurrect Aerith into the game because of this rumor that has been going around. Yup.... totes true! I read it on the internet!

Okay! Here we go.. (In order for any of this to work, you need Vincent and Yuffie)After Cloud wakes up from his coma, you'll find a random merchant hanging around outside Aerith's church. You have to buy 99 phoenix downs from him, and then go to the temple where she died. You'll find these hooded figures, who say there is a way to save her, but at great cost. You have to give them the phoenix downs. Now, they require a knife. Afterwards, go and find some tonberries. After you kill 10, a tonberry king will appear. After you defeat HIM, he'll drop a knife. Return to the temple, and give the knife to the leader of the hooded men. He'll crush the phoenix downs into a small powder of life, and put it in 7 cups of water from the pool that aerith lies in, enough for everyone except Cait Sith. After everyone drinks from the cups, he says all that's needed now is your blood. So everyone passes the knife around and give themselves small cuts, and raise their arms over the pool. This, combined with the phoenix down water that everyone consumed, which happened to purify their blood, brings Aerith back to the living.. However, everyone who drank the water then falls over dead!! So Aerith is alive again, but no one else in your party is except Cait Sith.

This teaches players that death shouldn't be meddled with, and if you try to do so, the price may be too great.

If we're going for fun ways of reviving that terribly boring person, we simply do this:

Have her reincarnated as a loaf of bread, and give her to starving children. From there you can figure out what she'll turn into and where she'll go before eventually returning to the earth in one way or the other, and then having it happen all over again.

I don't like Aerith, I find her boring. bleh.

Buy the special final fantasy 7 pack that comes with the footloose and dirty dancing soundtrack and you can revive her in that version.

Has anyone thought​ about... You know, NG+? That way Aerith can survive with all her experience... Until she dies again.

You sure you want to do this? Okay then...

First, you steal parts from every robot boss in Midgar. None of your characters have any formal training in thievery and stealing from a hostile that knows you're there is hardly the proper first exercise in it, so this will take awhile.

Next, kill the Midgar Zolom for a part it ate. You can only get this part if you kill the first Zolom you see, and you may recall it is a very difficult fight that early on. Tough it out.

Sephiroth also has a part that can only be stolen if you press X immediately before the fight with Jenova Seed starts.

If you have all of those parts you can find the Soul of Gaming in a chest under Red XIII's father. You'll need him to move of it, so use a soft on him like you should have already done for Nanaki's sake you heartless slimes.

When you have every one of those things you can go to the Gold Saucer and find what looks like Cloud's shadow hiding behind one of the game machines, which one appears to be random and if you look in the wrong place his shadow vanishes forever. (Disregard any rumors that this is actually Zack dressed all in black to confuse you.) The shadow will take all the parts and the Soul of Gaming.

When you revisit Nibelheim the shadow will have left a message behind Tifa's piano that 'it' is ready. Go back to the Golden Saucer before Aeris' death to play 'it'... an SNES that will only stay powered for forty hours. It has Final Fantasy 3 *cough*, which you must beat in full before the machine powers down. You must have recruited everybody in the World of Ruin, including Umaro, Gogo and Shadow, and prevented all their deaths during the credits. This, allegedly, rewards you with Plot Armor that makes Aeris the tankiest unit in the game until it shatters along with Sephiroth's sword to save her life. I'd know for sure but I need somebody to go slap some sense into Shadow so he doesn't order his dog to go find Relm while he loiters, waiting for a senseless death because the programmers didn't want to bother scripting him standing on Daryl's airship in the end shot if you found him.

I'm honestly surprised this thread is still around. It was already old when I joined.

I am kinda surprised that there are ways to try and revive her, I don't think that reviving her is right since it is also an important part of the story. I do wish she would come back though since I really like her. XD

This makes me wonder if there will be some weird way to bring her back in the remakes. Probably not, though.

Speaking of, I wonder what David thinks of the remakes so far, considering FFVII is his favorite game.

There are a lot of theories of this nature going around, and I think I buy into it.

The Remake has already retconned a few things, and thus, I think various parts of the game will be significantly different than we remember it.

I'm really curious to see how the Temple of the Ancients is done in general. They did well with it on the PSX, due to the limitations of the hardware, but with the power of the PS4 (and probably PS5, which the second/third/etc parts will release on) there's no excuses.

I actually haven't gotten very far in FFVII so the remake will be my first experience for a lot of things, but if they're changing quite a bit then I have no reason to not go back and play the original.

Clearly to revive Aerith all you gotta do is play Kingdom hearts guys, I mean she's fine in that game.

With the remake finally out, I'm curious to see how they handle her death in the upcoming "Episodes".
