I went to the opening hockey game today, and all i have to say is that the school team sucks.
The goalie is pretty good but he left the goal wide open for half the game.
and the players have horrible balance they fall down to much giving the other team the chance to get the puck easily.
does anybody here have a school hockey team?
If so are they any good?

Doesn't sound too good to me. Good goalies don't generally leave the goal wide open for a period of time unless they are pulled so the can get another offensive player on the ice.

You are in high school right? =| I think most people who play hockey know how to skate...

I think your team must suck then. I mean ouch, even my brother can stay balanced. And he's not a hockey player by any means. (he did play once and was ok at it)

I went to high school in southern California, so as you can imagine, there was no hockey. They have school teams around here though, and I hear some of my coworkers talking about them. One of the baggers at my work is actually on the team, so we chat from time to time. I have no idea when the games are otherwise I'd try to go to one.

School hockey teams must be a Canadian thing. I've never heard of a school hockey team until reading this thread. Hockey is my least favorite sport because of it's violence.

That is too bad. Our school is too small to have a hockey team even so I can not say that we have a good or a bad one. Though my city league hockey teams suck. Though I do not play on it. .
