I actually was on my first anime convention just some months ago (February the 8th) and it was an awesome experience! I met lots of new friends and had lots of fun. My next convention is gonna be from 25th april to the 27th. (So yes I will be gone that weekend.)

In short I recommend anime conventions to anyone who wants to have a fun time and make lots of friends.

My first one was about 2 weeks ago.
It was anime Boston on the 23rd of March.

I was able to spend 12 hours with Ami (My GF), so it was worth it.
(She lives in NH, about a 6 hr drive away.
