Last night the Cardinals beat the Brewers, and my post season prediction (made during the first match of the Division Series) has come true.

My Red Sox aren't in it, so I couldn't care less, but I'll be rooting for the Rangers.

Normally, I don't mind the Rangers, so they would be my team of choice in the entire playoffs.

I'm just glad we didn't see a Tigers-Brewers World Series.

For once I can say I am torn between the two teams.  Both teams have outstanding offensive players (Cruz, Beltre, Hamilton, Pujols, Freese, Holliday, Berkman) and an ace capable of winning a Cy young eventually or have won one (Wilson, Carpenter).  The Cardinals want to prove that they can win after being down and out of it at the start of September, but the Rangers lost a fan during the season at a game, and it would be huge for them to win.  My prediction : Cards in 7, with Carpenter pitching games 1, 4, and 7.
