Thanks to this website I have found Chrono Trigger and am completing my first play through. I cannot even begin to grasp what makes a emulator work, or what an emulator is for that matter, or how anyone could come up with a way to get all these games on here, I just wanted to take a minute and thank whoever came up with it. The site is amazing, and I will be a long time visitor. The only down side is my work has suffered, seeing as how I have also downloaded the Vizzed emulator on my work PC But in any event, I see that there is a forum and a community on here. I'd love to be a part of it if you all would have me! 

Vizzed is always happy to welcome members into the forum community. That is what Vizzed was originally --and still is. The forums are to offer a place for everyone to discuss what they feel like --as long as the rules are followed.

I see you have been here for nearly a year now yet this is your first post. So why not share a few things about yourself? I will ask a few questions to give you a place to start (if you do not mind). 1) How did you find Vizzed? 2) What are some of your favorite games? And 3) Has you work suffered simply because you come here often to have fun? (I myself would be a bit guilty of the third question.)

If you need help understanding something about the Vizzed Board, or you just want to chat, feel free to send me a private message. Again, it is great to have another member join us on the forums.

Thanks for the feedback, a lot of time has gone into making this site what it is.

I didn't create any of the emulators but I did make the site (and paid someone to make the RGR Plugin) and I did make it so that it's easy for anyone to play these retro games with very little knowledge of emulation.

AuraBlaze : I actually found this site about a year ago as I was searching for an old game which I didn't know the name of at the time, and it ended up being Haunting Starring Polterguy. Then I found Kid Chameleon, and all these other great games from my childhood and now I've stumbled upon Chrono Trigger. Which from what I understand is one of the greatest games for the NES, and I missed it during that era but thanks to this site I get another chance to play it! And yes, my work has suffered from the emulator simply because I'm always playing when I should be doing something else! But I blame my employer for trusting me to get anything done on an unsupervised PC!

jae you should blame your self for lack of controle.  Though we can talk about that at another time.

I joined not too long ago 03-13-11.  I don't play the games much, but I do love the community.  There are many nice people and this place offers not only games but the ability to express your art/writings and make good friends.  To get yourself started keep on the forums I highly suggest not entering the chat until you have found your place amongst the forums.  The chat can be quite nuts at time and can scare people away.

Also never be afraid to ask questions, there is a help forum on here.  I love to help as much as I can too.

I've been here for a year or two, I forgot. Ask the thing that says when I joined. That aside, I'm glad you like it here. Welcome to... This internet site. I hardly ever play games on here since I prefer playing them without an emulator, and like DOS games more than using emulators to play anything that isn't a DOS game. Haha.

So all of this is just one person's brain child that gives everyone a lot of enjoyment for free? I'm confused as to how all of this site is possible with no required fee. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but it just looks like A LOT of man hours have went into the site. You just don't usually find selfless people that spend their time for other peoples enjoyment and don't ask for something in return. And if that's the case, that person is a rare entity and I greatly appreciate their effort!

Yes, David has sacrificed a lot of time (and money, I think) to keep this place running. The majority of funds that David receives comes from advertisements, but another fair portion is from donations.
