So, there are no reviews or discussion threads for this game, so, being a hardcore e-bound fan, I decided to fix this.
For starters, the characters are pretty creative. A baseball fan, a pre-school teacher, a genius, and a prince. Now honestly, who would think of this? The whole Psi thing is cool, and useful. There's recovery, damaging, and assisting Psi moves. The only bad part about characters and Psi, is that 3/4 characters have Psi. That's too much, don't you think? Anyways, the enemies and bosses. O.o They are very unique and creative. There's a variety of animals, emotions, objects, and sometimes other-worldly stuff. The most creative enemy, in my opinion, is are the foppy / fobbies. They're red and orange oval blobs with tiny circle feet. That's pretty weird. Not only that, but its interesting how they're useless and attack you in groups of 3-6. The game play is pretty cool, it broke away from traditional rpg's, the story is amazingly deep-plotted, this is overall a great game. I give it a 9/10. A nine because there are some extremely annoying thing. Grapefruit valley. Ther'es a lot of mushroomizing there, and the enemies are horribly annoying. It takes a lot of grinding to get through. Not only that, but the "12.5 %" chance of missing for the yo-yo's and slingshot's seem a little higher than that, don't you think? But beside those small draw-backs, earthbound has proudly made its place as my favorite game so far.
