I don't like leagues, I don't like playas, I don't like baseball, and most importantly I dont like humans so I wont bother trying to capture one. Confidence is the key.... the key to stupidity Theres things that I do not like in this world, 1 is magazine people and 2 is confident people. Confident people and magazine people are very sketchy to me. Anytime there is a liar and cheater or just straight out jerk its always the resemblance of a confident person. Maybe I appear confident online, but if I was really confident I would not be on a computer I would most likely be in a bar hooking up with magazine people to create unplanned babies and live life in a miserable fantasy of a wreck without any direction. Even if I somehow end up with a fantasy woman out of my "league", 32 other players will hit 3rd base with her by the end of the season.

JigSaw : Okay confidence bad?  Keep going down that path and agoraphobia is right around the corner.  You can't do anything, nothing, without a positive attitude.  I think you misunderstand the definition of confidence.  All those things you said can be negative results of mostly over confidence which isn't really confidence it is stupidity.  Confidence just means being sure in your ability to get the job done.

Who has the better shoe depends on who has the better brain. A shoe is a shoe and to assume otherwise displays how stupid one really is. Kids in africa would die for a shoe yet it amazes me that confident people go to great lengths to pimp every item they come in contact with. Life isn't about material objects, but if your confident that is all you will give a dam about. Who has the better shoe, who has the hottest gf, who has the best car, what a joke we have become as a society.

I honest don't care whose shoe is better because I don't play that game and I have already stated that with my post. Better is an optical illusion, its an opinion, so obviously the guy with the best shoe would be the one who got $200 nikes some basketball players signature on it.

I think such arbitrary bs as "leagues" basically only exists in high school, although there is such a thing as standards, dating outside your means, and things like that.

To answer the question quite a few times in elementary, middle, and high school I had crushes on those that were leagues ahead of me, being the weird girl that was pretty much universally hated. I actually succeeded in dating someone WAY outside of my league in 7th grade, Cris I believe was his name. He tried to keep me a secret and then I somehow "ruined" it by telling some popular girl who was really seeking information to spread rumors and make fun of me. So that ended that, I think I managed to be upset about that for a year which looking back was pretty stupid.

When I got around to my junior year in high school I finally was able to defend myself with witty comebacks and people began to leave me alone or they thought I was all right and I made a lot of friends. However even the "Weird guys" in the groups I hung out with considered me to be the bottom rung in the leagues, so I dated outside of school and usually older guys.

Now that I'm 19 leagues don't really exist. The only limit is your standards and how you present yourself to other adults. I used to be way less confident because of high school and I'd date straight up socially inept weirdos. Then I realized that in the adult world there isn't a narrow spectrum of what's attractive and often people want a cultivated personality and not just a pretty face, and so I set the standard. So I finally decided I don't deserve a loser or a creep and I'm with a very attractive and charismatic person. It's all in the confidence factor.

I'm often told that I'm out of the person's league that I am interested in by that person. That probably sounded confusing. They usually tell me that I am too good for them. I can't tell if they're just saying that to make me feel better or if they genuinely mean that. I really don't think about people being in separate leagues or ranked by numbers.
