As most of you probably know I, Dragon master is one of the most frequently censored posters here on vizzed board (Maybe the only one) and whilst censorship doesn't bother me all too much (It's after all the admins that make the rules) except when my whole posts get censored and or edited too something that doesn't have the tone, opinion, or ideas that the original post has it does irk me a little too not have an original of it. So my idea is for the staff to send a copy of the original writing if they decide to censor or edit any of my posts again. Thanks for listening.

Well, DM, I understand you're expressing your opinion, which is perfectly fine, but the way you say your opinion is usually said in an immoral way. And I know I'm not one of authority in this forum but it's a little rude to go around flaming people with insulting answers, in question threads that need mature answers that actually answer said question(s). Maybe you would not get censored so much if you watched your insults. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, it's just that there is a page stating the rules . For getting your original posts sent back to you, David would probably be more than willing.

Oh but most of the time I actually do answer and or give criticism relevant to the topic at hand. Besides getting experience with a**h***s is actually very good and much needed and the rules are rather foggy as all the rules I remember breaking are:
1. Spam (Of course this is mostly done in an attempt to add humor too the discussion)
2. Flame (Always with good criticism and opinions)
3. Insult video games without reason (Now this one I'm 100% guilty of :3)
4. Fuel flames (It's just far too tempting to pass up)

But anyways lets hold off on further off topic discussion until I have an official answer from an staff member about the original suggestion.

While censorship wouldnt be a bad thing, it would hinder the freedom of speech act. However, this doesnt mean you can constantly insult, use bad language or in anyway offend any kind of minority based on in anyway Race, Sex, Age, ect. (Yeah, i dont think you done alot of racial stuff...) I think particular words are automatically censored but im in no way about to test this.

Dont take it to personally DM, if you were really creating a problem you would have been banned long ago. But i think it would be in your best interest if you tried to contain your flaming, use of bad language and insulting comments. Also, DM if you have any particular posts you wish to bring to staff attention then please do so. As in, any particular posts which you dont think should of been changed or have been changed to complete void what you actually said. (I will handle this matter personally. So please PM me any complaints.)

And dont think you cant come to a staff member with a problem with another staff member. Its a forum, but doesnt mean we cant be professional.

Yep, the insults really weren't bad enough to make anyone feel like crap, so I guess it's okay.

Ok for staff members, any time you edit someones post, make a copy of their post first and paste it into the beginning or the end of their post and comment it out. This way we still have what they originally said so other staff members (and the user themself) can see the original copy and see what that user said wrong.

How does one comment out in edit posts?

EDIT: I can't reveal the code without it commenting out my post, so any non-mods can also see the commented out code by viewing the source of this page, my message which is commented out is 'This would be commented it'.

or in other words "Arrow left, exclamation mark, dash, dash then write what you want to write. Then to close dash, dash, arrow right. Also I'm pretty sure you could code it out in html.
