1.What is a program to make video game music for free? I am talking like 16 bit type music. IT MUST BE FREE!

2. What is your favorite 16 bit or 8 bit music? Naming the game is fine.

I know of Famitracker, which you can use to create 8-bit sounds and music. You can see it in action here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaZ09guoKs8

Some great 16-bit music is from Earthbound. The themes in there are really addicting to listen to every time you play.

billythekidmonster : I don't really know how to use it, but it looks like you type in the sound's code on each line and it plays it as it goes down. It's harder to use than, say, Garageband, if that's what you mean.
