Why do young men get stopped more by the police then women?

Why do certain ethnic groups face discrimination by the social justice/injustice system?

Mark Duggan died, Steve Biko, Smiley Culture and many other black prophets being/in police custody.

This clearly has to stop.

What have we learned from the inquiries conducted?

Was not a black teenager killed by a police officer only last year and put on a murder charge?

Have the lessons been learned?

I think I could show you, based on statistics, that the groups that get stopped by police more often are the ones that are committing more of the crimes.

I personally see nothing wrong with police targeting the groups of people who are more likely to be committing crimes. That means they aren't wasting time focusing on groups that aren't as likely to be committing crims.

For your first question, I think the reason for guys being stopped more than girls is because in the view of the police, guys are more prone to criminal activity; I have 2 uncles who are cops lol so I have an exclusive opinion.

2nd question - because it's established through experience by a cop that those groups need to be targeted....

Although this is like restating what geeogree said, this is also from statistics that I retained from my college studies and from quickfacts.census.gov. Part of the reason minorities (specifically African-Americans) feel they are being targeted is because of how they are represented in the United States justice system. While whites and blacks are equally represented in the justice system (40% white, 40% black, 20% are other minorities*), whites make up the majority of the United States' citizenry compared to blacks making up about 12.6%.
