No I am not afraid of death for I have seen it all my life. I have also cheated death once. I used to be afraid, but once I thought about it more it really isn't scary. Everything comes to an end.

I'm not really afraid of death.  I used to when I was a bit younger, but I've learned to accept it as a natural occurrence in humans.  Death is inevitable, and worrying does not change the inevitable.  Why add negative emotions to life for no good reason?

Me personally, I'm not worried about death, As I suffer from epilepsy I could die at any moment in time all it takes is for me to have a fit in a place that can cause me major damage, Stuff like crossing the road, anything to do with more than 3-4 inches of water.. Stairs... Yeah fun times. It's already officially made me drown once.. But hey I still try to live life to the fullest whilst I can

I don't see a point in being afraid of death. It happens to everyone and it's the only guaranteed thing to happen in life. I'm afraid of dying young but not death itself

I wouldn't consider me being afraid of death, I'm more afraid of what happens after death. Is there really going to be heaven or hell? Or is it just black and you don't even feel anything anymore. Like a never ending sleep.

While I do not consider myself to be afraid of death, per se, I certainly am not looking forward to it. Of course, I don't think anyone truly looks forward to dying, unless they have simply given up on life that much, which would be rather sad.

Truthfully, there is a part of me, tucked way back in the back of my subconscious, which is actually intrigued by the concept of death and what will happen once I die. Do I simply cease to exist? Will I ascend to some higher plane? Is reincarnation something that can occur? There is a great deal of mystery surrounding death, most of which will likely never have any light shed upon it. Perhaps that is for the best. I firmly believe that there are some things we, as human beings, are not meant to ever understand.

I can't give a yes or no answer to this question.

I'm afraid of pain and illness, obviously. But the concept of dying doesn't frighten or disturb me - I have accepted the fact that I'm going to die, and the idea of my existence ending permanently doesn't bother me, because it's meant to happen. I'm actually kind of excited to see what it's like to die, and experience the moments before death, just out of curiosity.

But in a way, I am afraid of death. I'm afraid of dying before I am an old woman, because I want to live out my dreams, and help change the world a little bit, before then. (That being said, I could always find something new to learn, see or do, so I may never be fully content with living for just 80 years or so.)

No not really, I have no idea what will happen when you are dead but that only excites me!
But if you are going to talk about if you are afraid of how you die, then I can say yes and no, I prefer to die in my sleep in my own bed instead of gapping for air in an hospital.
Guess we all have to wait

I am not afraid of death, I'll embrace it with a smile on my face I assure you. Now naturally I'm going to want to avoid disease and pain, but as for death, I have no need to try to avoid what can't be avoided; although if a reason came, I would certainly try to prolong the inevitable. Baha (:

I'm afraid of death.  It's humans most largest fear.  After that, I think it's public speaking, and bugs...  I love people, especially family, and I know someday, like all of us, are going to die.  I'm still developing a religion, currently, I'm catholic.  I still don't know what happens when you die though.  People are all like, "It's heaven or hell!" I think when you die, that's just it, you don't interact anymore, and it's the end of the road.  I'm at such a young age, that I don't want to die.  I haven't seen anything.  I haven't really experienced much of college, or working.  I haven't talked with people, go places I want to go, try new things, visit a different continent, learn to dance formally, and etc...  I fear death.  I'm afraid I'll walk in into my grandma's house, and see that she passed away.  My father witnessed my grandmas death, but at least he died happily...  I'm afraid I'll come home, and find that someone I care for got cancer, or died because of weaponry.  I don't constantly think about it, I will think about it though if a family member or friend has deceased recently though.  My grandfather was such a corky and funny guy, it's too bad I barely got to know him.  My dad tells lots of stories about him, that I never even realized, or what he did.  He had lots of money, so one day my grandpa got an office, just to have an office, and a really loud horn on his car.  You only realize they're gone when they're gone though, so make sure to interact with a lot of people, so you get to know them before they pass away.  I miss my family that has passed away, even the people I was too young to even know.  They seem like amazing people...
Sorry for the kinda sad post, and super long post...  I'm reading a book right now that kinda has to deal with death too.  It makes me feel really sad though...  I think its called The Faults of Our Stars and I wouldn't recommend reading it, unless you like romance and humor stories.

I fear death I think. Death makes me aware of how short life is, and
how trivial things can sometimes take the pleasure away from life. Cause of death I always have the constant idea that life is
short, which it is. I just don't want to be separated from my family and friends and I really hate the fact that death does that.

I'm not afraid of death.  I know I have my Lord and Savior to look forward to meeting.  If He were to decide right now was my moment, then I would trust Him in that.  My only fear might be that anyone I left behind would struggle with the loss.  I would hope that they would find strength through God however.

I'm sort of scared. You have to lie under an headstone and never move again. Good thing is you'll safely go to heaven. But i'm still sort of scared about death.
