Ok well this is a thread in direct conversational comeback to IceWaves comments in off topic.
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=386&ppp=30&page=68#59239

I would like to vent a bit.

First off, how the heck would you know what kind of a leader he is? I mean honestly. How? You saw it on your news? Oh, ok. You saw it on CNN? Oh, that makes sense. They are both geared toward a political agenda. But, You asked the troops? Doubt it. You did the research on the progression of the war in iraq into being a good thing for the people of both countries in the long haul? Not likely.

Now you claim there are all these mistakes made by bush. Name them

And i really hope you don't blame GW for your drought problems.

But also, it shows you haven't done the full research on the going into the war. At the time just before going into the war it was deamed irresponsible for the united states to not take action undert the current information. And that statement wasn't made by the US. It was make by the UK. But thats another topic i would need more time to prepare for.

And how did our war in iraq hurt your country? Did one of your 100 troops die? I am confused.

And on to the global poliece issue. If the us doesn't, who will? Then there is an argument of "Well do we really need police?" Ok, well since the end of WWII the us has taken on this role. It wasn't an easy one and has cost thousands of lives in korea, vietnam, iraq, and other theaters of opperation. We also haven't had a global war in the past 60+ years. And with the rise and fall of the USSR that is an impressive feat.

I suppose if you do too much people become dependant. If you do too little they lose faith. But, if you do just enough people will wonder if you did anything at all. And yes that is a quote

First off... No, GW isnt responsible for our drought, that'd be stupid :p

And, everything America has done before this War on Terror is great... yeah... But, i dont think - no matter what the evidence - America has the right to walk into another Country and just begin tearing the place apart.

So life in Iraq is better for the living residents huh? What about the 55,000 that were killed? The 130+ U.S Solders killed (and yeah Australia only lost 1 unit... Come to think of it i think it was an accident... anyway i widthdraw my statement of Australian troop loses. Also we deployed 2000 troops)

The biggest way it hurt our country is financially, ask any Australian, life HAS changed alot since the war.

Global Police is different to Global Harassment practically what America has done.

Mistakes may have not been the most suited word to use, Agreed something had to be done about the possibility of a threat. I'm not a Country leader, im sure he had other alternatives than walking into a girls scout club with a shotgun (analogy, no body take this seriously).

So John, let me ask you, are you a Raciest. If you see an African American what do you feel? Hate? Your a conservative too aren't you? So i can understand how you don't see my point of view here. If i remember correctly, Conservatives are Christan's... a party of Christains... Yes? Opposed to Black's? Homosexuals? Racies? All that matters is, your the same as them... (Correct me if im wrong, the fact that people like this try to run your country is scary.)

John, please dont take my disapproval of George Bush personally, your not a jerk... all the time... So why be one now? Why can you not respect (and you too David) the fact that i DON'T approve of the "War on Terror". I DON'T approve of the decision's George Bush AND John Howard made, ergo, not only did i vote against him but so did majority of Australia.

Ok. But america does have the right to defend herself. Correct? And they didn't just tear the place apart. They rebuilt it. They have rebuilt not only the infastructure but also the political landscape and have made headway for peace in the future.

Icewave i know your country hasn't been exposed to much war so this is different for you. I'd say its like outside looking in adverse to inside looking out. Not everything is free my friend. Some things are worth fighting for. Some times you do indeed need preventative maitinance. Think about it.

How did it financially hurt your country. I am confused on that part.

Did you know icewave that the united states gives more aid to developing nations espeically in africa than any other country on the planet. Hands down.

And now about your comment about how i am a backwoods conservative christian racist? Conservatives opposed to blacks? Racists? Honestly that comment pisses me off and it would be like saying everyone in australlia doesn't know their abc's and is inbread, has sex with kangaroos, and talks like a limey idiot.

Icewave i am not trying to say you shouldn't have an opinon, because you should. I honestly wholeheartedly do not think you have taken much thought or done much research on the issue. Because i hear this stuff all the time from people you bump into. People say the dumbest things about politics. Who knows maybe i am one of those people. I like to think i am not. But most often those people will hear it on the news or from a friend and represent it as the truth. It is absurd.

I did say to correct me on the Conservatives thing, like i said, that'd be a scary thought. But you still didn't answer the question... Not that its important...

Financially it hurt not only the country but it hurt EVERY resident of the country...

Since the War On Terror, regardless of if this is a direct cause of the war or not, everything has become more expensive... But especially fuel... Fuel used to cost around 80 cents a liter... Now it costs closer to 1.50 Dollars a liter... almost DOUBLE what it cost before the war... how does this affect Australia... EVERYTHING becomes more expensive because EVERYTHING has to be transported and EVERYTHING uses fuel to transport products, food, electrical.. everything... Now to cover the rising costs of fuel company's have to rise the cost of their products. It all adds up, not only that, Australia as a country was already in debt, things have only got worse.

And yes, every country has the right to defend it's self... Even Iraq...

A woah is me story. Prices have changed world wide. Including america. Back in the day you could fill up for 2 dollars a gallon and now its over 3. Hey come up with solutions. s*** happens, walk. And if your economy is in such bad shape to begin with its prolly because of those dirty rotten socialists, aka communists in disguise.

Here in america the ethonal industry has really taken off, which raises prices on idustries dependent on corn. ie beef, poultry, etc. Mosly raising fuel prices. Its the same kind of scenario.

I know in america the problem is not the amount of fuel coming in, but rather the amount of oil refinaries available. If more were created then we could have a lower price in gasoline. What australlia should do is learn how to grow corn and sell it to developing countries and get them off of our asses for a while.... tangent.... sorry

So i am sorry that everything isn't served on a silver platter and sacrafices have to be made. Its part of it. It just means you have to work harder to survive. Something a lot of people are unwilling to do.

And what the hell does "every country has the right to defend it's self... Even Iraq..." mean
