The other day I went with my mom to Best Buy, where she got a brand new Gateway desktop computer.
It's legit, It isn't designed to gaming, but it still works for it, lemme tell you.
It has 1 terabyte of memory, 6.00Gb of RAM( Alienware computers have 8), and a 3.1 Ghz processor from Intel, which is quite nice, even though I would have preferred a Nvidia one. It runs Windows 7, 64 bit. The case has LED's built in, I was like "HOLY MOTHER OF AWESOMNES!!" lol
I wasn't sure whether to put this under Technology, or about me... So feel free to move it.

I built mine for just as much for under 700 dollars. But my graphics card can handle anything in DX11 with over 80FPS. Monitor and OS included.

How much did that cost you.

Also Alienware has nothing on me. My 4GB of RAM has more memory clock than their 8GB. Which makes me superior.

Don't count on Alienware for "Superior" gaming. By the way.

E- Also 4GB RAM is all you need for -anything- you can throw at. Anything more is a waste of space for RAM.

E2- Also not to crap on your thread. But gateway uses terrible Hard drives and Motherboards that are doomed to fail over excessive usages. Newegg and NCIX forums have proved this time and time again. When those fail buy a Seagate HardDrive and make sure you go with an extended warrenty. Cause you are honestly going to need it. The parts for those computers are crap and they die in less than two years if untreated.

Nice! Lucky you. I have a pretty decent computer, with 4G RAM and all that. 

It's a 2002 Windows XP, but it's far superior to those who buys the default 2010 version of Windows 7 and Vista. :3

XP can only recognize 4GB of RAM total, 7 can learn more than that. Not to mention DX11 isn't supported with XP. Win7 is more secure, reliable, and stable than XP ever hopes to be. Which is probably why Microsoft stopped maintaining it.
