Think of making a FF, I would have a blast, I mean just making the story line. I would have the main character be named Cid and he would actually be a bad guy and the game switchs between him and the the good guy which would also be a main character, it woul be a big game and at the end when they battle each other you get to choose who you battle with and there would be alternate endings and every fight they have against each other before that it would just be the story type thing like as the good guy you fight Cid then you could win that fight and then the story would continue same with being Cid. Also the good guy would be named Sought (It would change but its the only thing I could think of) So thats my FF.

Square enix only hires the best of the best. So it would be pretty hard to land a job making stereotypical japanese roleplaying games.

Well I would definitely have a better time with editing the first 6 FF's than make on form scratch...but making it from scratch, building off of what these awesome people started would be tough but fun... But I would edit FF2, not because I think I could make it better, but simply because it would be fun

And you expect to?? As stated before, they hire the best of the best and not just one person works on the story. If you can create a good game by yourself you probably do stand a decent chance for working for SE. I'm probably going to use RPG maker to create a FF game soon.

Everyone says I have great ideas anyway, and cause I've I've been playing around with RPG95 for 6 months, I've got a semi-good grasp of how to work the system...So, Go me!!

If it hadn't been a videogame, FF6 would have made an incredible book or movie.
