Update to my first try:

After playing this absolutely amazing RPG's i have not much bad to say about it i love the main characters all the PSI is great i love Paula's and Poo's When looking for the King of swords i had a lot of fun even looking for that really rare weapon.

 The story is one of the most amazing story lines i have ever played through but on the depth i will down rate just comparing it to mother 3 and Earthbound Zero in my opinion it has much less depth (just in my opinion).

 The graphics are great for SNES standards The music i have absolutely nothing bad to say about it it is very funny for example in the dungeon man the remix of a Beatles song.

The game's wittiness is amazing like in the dungeon man with the Beatles song remix it had a yellow submarine inside with a sign saying "this yellow submarine is just simply coincidence" i found very funny.

The final boss is very original starting of with just fighting Pokey then going on attacking Giygas then finally using Paula to pray to defeat it i found very funny and original. The other bosses are very funny I mean the shining spot bosses. The funniest of all was definitely Shrooom! because of the irony with him able to make you fell funky. The other shining spot bosses are really cool as well especially the carbon dog/diamond dog was very challenging the boss itself and the dungeon to get to it as well.

The only downfall i could give to this game is how easy some of the bosses are making the game quite to simple and giving out things like multi-bottle rockets make even more easier.

My favorite part of the entire game is getting to all the your sanctuary's and getting to hear the whole song after getting the one at lava spring and going through Magicant and getting such an amazing level up for your main character!

In the end i love this game and i would play it again and again! if you don't play too much of this game i really think you are missing out

I never really got into earthbound. It just didn't appeal to me.

Only an 8 to depth? I'm flabbergasted.


Earthbound is still one of the game's series since back in the day to even present day where it has A LOT of depth. Actually, it may be one of the games that has the most depth in the entire world, all the way back to the original Mother game that was released on the NES.


By the way, I feel this review is severely lacking. And I say that because your "review" is only one line. I would imagine a real review to be at least a couple hundred words, a 3 sentence paragraph of each at least explaining why you at least rated it as it is. It is your review. Explain why you rated the game as such. Tell me why you like this game, tell me what makes the game good, tell me your favorite aspect of the game. Tell me your least favorite aspect of a game.


If I never played Earthbound before, saying: "This game is awesome because it's got good graphics and music, so go and play it."... Well, let's just say that is not going to make me want to go and play it, sorry to say.


I'm not trying to attack you, these are nothing more then my opinions (that I strongly believe hold truth). This just really isn't a review. I'm sure you've seen official reviews before, and even most reviews manage to scrounge up two paragraphs on something devilish... Like E.T. Yes, it's a bad game. But they say why it is a bad game; not that it is just a bad game.

As an avid member I must agree with Vincent in that your review is a little to short. You should go into a little more detail especially since yours is a one-liner. I myself have yet to play the game, but this is some more good news for me since it adds to its appeal.

UserMike : Well i am new to this i don't know how everything works yet and i am being bombarded with criticism and it is a game that's not that hard to sum up because of how good it is

I think I'll give Earthbound a try I guess. I watched a play through of it for a while and I didn't really like it much, but hey, it might be one of those games where you really have to play it for yourself to really grasp the foundation of it. I won't know if I really like it until I play it myself.

I agree, this game is really good, I find it the most fun rpg games that I have ever played in a long time, since Mario RPG its very fun. I love playing it and anybody can play it and love it too
