Hi people, I have been looking for a site like Viz so I can play my favorite game ever. I lost my copy of super Mario rpg and was so happy to find one here! I am going to school for physical therapy and enjoy rpgs when I'm not busy. I also like to get together with my friends on the weekends for some dungeons and dragons. I'm new to Viz and forums in general, but this site seems safe and friendly so I look forward to posting on here. Thanks!

Oh hey. no, that's not necessary, you just need the rule books, dice, and good ol' pen and paper. just those few things and your imagination. I used to play dungeons and dragons 3.5 and switched over to pathfinder but I still refer to it as d&d. Its mostly the same but fine tuned for fun! here's a link so you can check it out. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/
You can use maps either hand drawn or bought for your games.
It's basically a storytelling game, like playing pretend but with rules.
I like using miniatures and maps because it helps you see positioning and makes it easier to describe the location.
 So check it out and tell me what you think. It's been good meeting you by the way.
